I have recently tried out magic views and I all get out of it is socket time out. I tried messing with the settings and nothing seems to work. Can anyone please help me?

I've noticed it was connection related. My internet couldn't run it but I run it on my vps just fine.

I have the same problem.. even with 1 thread.
My internet keeps disconnecting after running the software, and I need to re-plug my router to get my internet back.

From my testing, it has to do with three things:

1) your connection speed (lower the number of threads)
2) your PC specs (as above, lower the number of threads)
3) too much threads raping the same video (instead of just lower the number of threads, to optimize the views increasing I suggest to open a second instance and assign to another video the threads removed)

Hope that helps.

I have tried all three and it still doesn't work.

it still works like a charm for me ,,, my 2 vids got >500k views after running it for 18 hr ,, i think u need super fast connection, or u should use VPN as it will open port 554 automatically ...

Is there a tutorial anywhere for that?? Please reply??!?

How do you run it on VPS?

Does it require a linux or windows VPS?

Please let me know.

Thanking you.

yep, too many errors like this now, didn't have problems first day or two. Maybe Youtube is fighting back somehow ?

Good...
I think MagicViews will die within 1-2 days from now.

Because now, my VPS also can't handle it. :D

P/S tried to reduce the threads to 2, also give socket time out
