Anyone play Magic The Gathering? I have a small group that I play with :) its a tonne of fun.

What do you think of Jace and Stoneforge Mystic getting banned? My bf was rejoycing.. then remembered his Jace he pulled had plummeted in value, and felt a little sad for a moment :D

Played from Beta until about 5 years ago. I've only ever played casual tournaments amongst friends, no T1 or T2 rules.

I also don't play standard. I put my money into my businesses instead ;) but I play a tonne of casual sealed/draft games made from my friends card collections. Its my bf that plays competitively. My favourite format is EDH/Commander. I built an amazing Sliver EDH deck, but its too good for my friends, so I have tonned it down to a Cromat deck ;)

Slivers were fun, although I spent a bit too much money chasing down some of the rares. My favourite deck was my elf deck, all over before your opponent had anything to hit you with (although not very effective against burn decks).

    Windmill,

lol... this is the last place I thought I'd ever hear MTG. It's for dorks only, I've never played ever... and by that I mean I've been playing for about 13 years. :)

Jace is OP and I'm glad he is getting the stick.

    Regards,
    Ducky

:D well maybe I am mistaken, but this is an IM forum. People might pretend to be "cool" high-rollers. But at the end of the day, this is as geeky/nerdy as it gets :) and my guess was that some of those people must surely also be into MTG

Jace is OP but I'm surprised they're banning him now when he's about to rotate out. From what I've seen of standard, all they really needed to ban was Stoneforge Mystic. Jace didn't create decks on his own; he was simply an awesome tool. Stoneforge Mystic was just flat-out broken

@ Autumn thats so true. Though it applies to everything. Me: complains New Zealand's internet is too expensive. Then I will go and spend $600 on a tablet
