Magic Submitter = Worst customer service ever?

Has anyone else had an awful experience with the magic submitter people? These SOBs literally started ignoring my emails after the 2nd reply.

They fixed my problem within 24h.

Contact him on Skype. his email reply bit slow.

It's why I quit.
That and the basic sites never working
"But you can fix them yourself...it's fun"

But I'm paying a bloody subscription the basic sites should "just work". I'm here to make money not learn drag and drop script maintenance! (and a third rate drag and drop script tool at that - no where NEAR as powerful as Zenno - not even close).

this is true scritty, i agree.

i do know alex though and he is a very nice guy, super sharp programmer too. i just feel he is taking on too much to chew and needs a support staff to give him more developer time.

So you suggest I go with ultimate demon instead? I'm not interested in building scripts.

Agree with that. He is a one man person. He should hire people and get in to make more updates. As far as I know the updates on magic submitter as just for name sake. Those small little updates which don't have any meaning. They should be adding more platforms as there are tons out there. Anyways, the software is still great and I like it..

I played with MS some time ago and I was pretty impressed. All of a sudden our subscription got cancelled and nobody EVER replied to our emails asking why this happened.

I found out that the website is not shown in some countries and I can't understand why.

The software is good, the pricing is alright but the customer service and awful. I don't want to chase the guy via email, tickets, skype and messenger pigeons whenever I have an issue with it.

Now, we will have to subscribe again because we'll be building a template for it but we will surely cancel once we're done. There are other similar tools with far better customer support.

Try Skype just keep in mind guy is in Eurozone time, in the night he wont reply. He usualy does fix everything fast

yeah if i remember alex is in ukraine. best to get to him around 10pm eastern time.

from my experience, their support is good and magic s is regularly updated

I agree with you. The support is always very friendly and helpful. The guy "above" with the negative comment is just because of his UD signature.

Not at all - I bought MagicSubmitter, spoke to Aleks - he helped me out to begin with.

Then after a while the software let him down. His service was good to begin with - but his software was letting him down
Maybe that's changed in the past months, but my experience was very much below satisfactory

After a few back and forths with Aleks over how bad this was and why even sites like wordpress.com and tumblr had scripts that failed 100% of the time - and being told "Well you can fix them", which for a subscription service - and for the main sites - I thought was a poor answer.
My success rate overall, after all the tweaks and fixes was just too low to be acceptable under 50% let me make accounts of which less than 50% of those let me submit content (so 20-25% success was about the average) This is with the sites that were included - not with any I added.

I quit after it wasn't resolved and Aleks refuses to have me back (I have tried) the whole thing cost me quite a bit in terms of time and money. I bought new proxies, bought into more than one captcha solving service, sourced new content etc.

I'd quite happily market MS if it was a good tool. - but it wasn't - and in the end the service went from very good to rather rude and a little dismissive.

If he lets me back I'll (i'll pay) I'll happily review it again - maybe even market it, My site get's 33,000 UV's in the IM and SEO niche per day I'd happily be proved wrong.
Regardless of what I market now - my experience of MS was rather poor.

Unlike Ultimate Demon, Magic Submitter comes with a lot of sites in it's database by default. I ended up with a ton of statusnet and blog platform links. The Web20 submissions didn't seem too bad either.

Then all of a sudden it just stopped working so I cancelled.

Now I'm using Ultimate Demon and I still haven't even started scraping sites yet. I might just have to go back to Magic Submitter, SMH.
