I think it's all as real as WWF, Hollywierd and 3 quarters of the FB user generated database.

OK. But Kulagina was tested with telekinesis in laboratories. It is the
same with Bob Monroe who was tested in laboratories. Becouse of it was found
Monroe Institute. Next well known institut is Esalen Institute where
were famous psychologists like Stanislav Grof, Aldous Huxley, Abraham Maslow etc.
Why these people losing time experimenting with hidden personal powers ?

The reason "gurus" claim that science can't explain everything is to legitimise themselves. Well, here 's some breaking news - if it exists, it 's scientifically explainable.

Its true. Everything is explainable by science - as science is just describing the process behind things.
but obviously there is stuff we don't yet understand - sort of like when the world was believed to be flat, that was simply common knowledge, and it turned out not to be true.

in the same respect, things we believe to be common knowledge now could also turn out not to be true - not because science is wrong, but maybe there are variables we simply don't know about or haven't yet taken into consideration.

there must be loads of stuff like that - mind reading for example, science can't explain it now, and there is no evidence to support it, or anyway we can see it to be possible. But it doesn't mean it's not possible - especially when you consider how little we know about the human brain.

So it's not beyond the realms of possibility that people out there understand , or partly understand a few things that others don't, and that would give them the power of magic - sort of like if a group of people discovered fire, before common knowledge of it existed, then they could have used that knowledge to "create magic".

That's whats called a thread stopper. In my book anyway. Years of dedication, insane demonstration.

Clarke's Three Laws are three "laws" of prediction formulated by the British writer Arthur C. Clarke. They are:

  1. When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.
  2. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
  3. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

I study this stuff too but we don't do tricks with it. We fight larger opponents and multiple opponents. It's all physics.

That's very true but I'd also like to point out that from what I've seen you generally seem to have an answer for everything which at times seems rather closed minded.

Edit: I thought I'd add my 2 cents to this thread and wanted to suggest the following:

Imagine that life is like a game, any game you like. Now take a look at how this game functions and what can and can't be done within the game. If the character within was conscious he/she would only be able to do what the game was programmed to do. This game most likely will have some kind of cheats which will enable you to cheat the game or give you the option to do things you weren't able to do beforehand. If the programmer wanted to, he would be able to add additional features to such a game, it's just a matter of imagination. Finally, and remember take some time with this, think for a moment and apply this to life. Don't forget, you're the programmer.

Well first, it's a TV show. There are lots on fake stuff on TV. Just because paranormal activity looks real, it doesn't mean it is. But people still believed it. Same with The Blair Witch Project.

But more than likely, this is mind over matter. These are trained professionals who know the human body inside out. There are certain spots on the body that if you press them really quick, you can render someone unconscious. Just as there are places that you can hold (not push, just hold) a drill on and it won't break through all layers of the skin.
