Magento Vs. Woo commerce Vs. Zen Cart?

Which one do you guys suggest for a small webshop? I have used Wordpress in the past and am comfortable with the layout and never tried Magento. Which one is easy to use? I?ll be updating the list every now and then!

Researched a lot on this a while back and found PrestaShop was also a pretty sweet option.

But if it's not a big deal and you're already familiar with WP, WooCommerce is pretty good too. Some hardcore ecommerce'ers hate on it but it works and is easy
 
Zen cart is hard to do On-page SEO or atleast when I tried to do it on my clients website. Magento and Woo would probably be good options.

Also, check out Volusion, it is easy to use and has reviews integrated into the search results
 
Magento has all kinds of third party developed add ons and what-not. We chose them for an e-commerce client of ours but in part because it was a MASSIVE list of products and they were willing to pony up for Magento developers.
 
Woocommerce is easiest to setup and is good for small stores. If it's a big store (>10,000 items), it won't handle it, so if you're starting to get into the 1000s of items then magento, but it's harder to setup and customise.
 
I use magento for all my ecommerce sites, but it can be a pain to develop for. However there are some great themes for it and lots of extensions some of which are free.

It's still a learning curve, but I think it has the most to offer out the box.
 
For a small ecommerce store and you already are familiar with Wordpress, I would pick Woocommerce. It will be easy for you to setup and maintain regardless of skillset. Magento is great but can be a painful experience. Zen cart is also great but probably more then you need. One of the problems with Woocommerce is the expensive addons. Still it would be easy for you to setup and try Woocommerce yourself to see if you like it
 
I did a lot of sites on Magento, it is powerful feature rich but requires a lot of server resources. Shared hosting accounts 99% of the time would not work due to the limits on the resources you can use, even when I try to install a demo on a shared hosting it fails to load due to the restrictions. VPS or dedicated hosting does the job done.
 
I run a Magento e-commerce website and I have found it to be the best platform. I've tried Wordpress, Opencart and Prestashop and the features built into Magento have outweighed the others by a mile!

Magento does take some getting used to though and it does require a lot of server resources. I've got it running on a VDS a I've got very quick page load times. This is through optimisation though as well with the help of some very useful extensions.
 
Woo commerce for small sites and Magento for bigger sites.
Don't really recommend anything else as these are the most supported platforms out there.
 
i would go for woocommerce if you're already working on wordpress thats the best option and there are tons of plugins you can use with them.
 
Drupal with commerce kickstart. Would never use anything else again.
 
Personally i really like Opencart.
I would never use WordPress for eCommerce. It is bloated, has lots of security pitfalls and in my own personal opinion, the stores do not look as professional as Magneto, Prestashop, Opencart etc etc.
