Looks like the whole Mafia Wars & Farmville niche is dead. This market used to be booming, with the top Farmville product having a gravity of over 500! Now its down to 125, and the top Mafia Wars product is down to 25 which isn't that great.

I feel a little sorry for all the Farmville copycats who released their own product (there are atleast 20 of them) with 0 gravity (zero sales), they must have spent a bit for hosting, domain, design, product activation etc to end up making nothing. :D

Any ideas on what will be the next BIG thing?

Nothing will reach that level of intensity unless it has the social engineering involved like before with all the social pressure and such. However, zynga will still be the market leader for the near future in my opinion. It will be interesting to see who can muscle in on the market regarding iphones and mobile games and give zynga some good competition. Just think if they made some vampire game relating to twilight, how popular that would be. lol

Plus Zynga seems to be suing most of these sites..

It was good while it lasted but it was mighty annoying seeing conversions of 1 in 1000 hops. Good riddance!

Its still booming for me! Sorry to hear your experience is going down.... I deal with farmville not the other one lol. I love farmville lol!!!!

I knew it that it will crash sooner or later. Lol. Kids just tend to grow up.

How can Zynga sue sites?

They have the cheek to copy and launch a Facebook game that becomes popular from another publisher.
In fact Playfish and the other biggies do too.

Thats 3 faced let alone 2 faced.
Now they launched Frontierville.

And everybody in the Universe has some version of Bejeweled

Anybody bothering to do a Frontierville Secrets clickbank product, my Mafia Wars and Farmville ventures have dried up totally now, so looking to pound facebook with a new product.

Are you trying to misguide people? Banking off of farmville and mafiawars and making people not go into that niche? :D

Last time I heard they still are very popular.

Very true, they're nowhere near as large as they were...maybe Frontierville is the next big thing?

NO- it will be my game whenever I get a break and find a good flash studio and get job to make some bloody money in my bank account.
-
The frustration of having a potential massive money making game with many income outlets let me tell you is unbearable.

-You will all be then writing ebooks on MY GAME

to many competitor.... looking for another niche will be great...

if you are that sure about your project. Find a partner or investor. Most great businesses start that way.

both of them dead for you, but both of them still useful for me :)

Never really explored that niche but that's what happens when you don't get creative. And I don't feel bad for the copycats at all. If you're not creative then you can't expect too much.

Deleted member 15724 is right about getting creative , don't just copy do something diffrent and you will see that it still converts .
I am promoting treasure isle and for me it's booming , it's very very popular .

the only books that are succesfull are from travis sago
( aka. T Dub Jackson). And thats because he has a masive army of bum marketers running for him.
And he has the balls and resources to have those thing proffecially designed
Its hard to compete against that.
