The best way to monetize Indian traffic is with targeted direct offers, like an info product. Not expensive, somewhere in the $1-$5 range. Maybe a bit higher, but you want to encourage as many conversions as possible! I've not had much luck with it paying well otherwise. Does anyone else have input?

Conversion rate totally depends on the site. My personal conversion rate was shit, around 1%, but that was my fault mostly. I have seen clients who have had around 7%. All those links were redirected to amazon directly from the money site.

Sorry I cannot give you anymore details on client sites as I consider all of them to be secret. But I can tell you that it wouldn’t matter on the state level that much. You will get two types of Indian visitors. One who is broke, and the other one who will buy. The problem is, they aren’t gonna buy from an unknown site. They only buy from sites they trust. For e-commerce, it would be amazon, flipkart and a bit of shopclues.
