Made New Forum- Need way to Monetize it

Few of you know me, but I have been around the forums, thanking/repping people, and asking for help. I just have one thing to ask,

See I had made a gamign forum a couple days ago,
and I am trying to find a way to get many members and to monetize it.

With 17 members and only 89 post I don't think you should be trying to monetize as of yet. Grow your forum members and active users before you use ads and stuff to push potential people away.

How about egay products? You could have it automatically generate feeds for gaming consoles and games.

Forget making money off that site.

It isn't going to happen until you have thousands of posts and members. Give it up and try something else if making money is your aim.

Forums are for love not money. Most aren't anyway.

Agreed. From everything I've read forums have the lowest CTR for adwords than any other type of site. Like this site, have you ever click on those ads up there? or even noticed them?

But like most other things, build a quality product and you'll find a way to make cash off it.
