Hey BHW. Just very excited to tell you, I made money with CPA the free way!

At first I was throwing away cash for PPC and Media Buying (which I don't even know enough about yet). Then, although people say Twitter traffic is CRAPPY. I decided to test anyway, all day with different offers.

Most of them didn't convert for crap. I tried a lot of the top EPC and top CR offers on my network.
THEN, I though, what would I MYSELF click on if I were just scrolling through twitter? (if I wasn't hip to IM)
And BAM. I tested an offer I would possibly try, and made my very first Earnings! It wasn't a lot at all, but I was honestly about to say SCREW CPA before today.

(btw I don't send traffic directly from Twitter, I have a blogger landing page)

Just wanted to share and encourage newbies like me to think from the audience's perspective. Also twitter traffic isn't complete garbage if you're creative.

Congrats :)

Yet to make my own earnings with CPA just yet. Tried a number of things, failed. Will keep trying, your post is motivating!

Scale 'er up!

Nice. That would make a good motivation to others :)

Scale 'er up!

Yeah definitely keep trying! I tried for a month before having a good idea (although I was putting more energy into other methods)

Congrats :-)!! .. now like states above. SCALE. do what you did for those conversions as many times over as humanly possible.

I second this!
After almost a month of testing my "Twitter > blogger > offer" combo, I got some very nice results with email submit offers.
Having a geo-targeted traffic is a bonus too. ;)

How are you getting your geo traffic ? Is a city or state in the domain name ?

it's an awesome feeling. the key is to really review your data, and scale up. also remember: they wont all be winners! so don't expect it.
