His English may be crap but his skills might be exceptional.

I used to know a guy in England who was a stonemason and was a true craftsman, but he was the most uneducated person. His wife used to do his written quotes for work, as his English and writing were so poor.

That's true. But impression matters, especially online, no matter how good his skills are , his expression is a put off that would diminish his chances of showcasing his skills

Funny thing is, he could actually be good at writing code/?.
Sad thing is, he should find someone to represent him on freelancing boards asap, he shouldn't be talking to clients, ever.
