Made money from Tiktok Creator Beta program

I recently became eligible to sign up for the TikTok Creator Beta program and I don't exactly know what
it is still. I just signed up cuz they said you could get paid or monetized views. So after 1 month of signing up,
I somehow got paid $11 today. I checked my tiktok account to see where it paid me or how. Apparently two of
my videos got $9 and $2 so that is how I got $11 payout but I don't know why those 2 videos got payouts but
the other 10 videos I have posted in that month didn't (and they have similar content/niche, similar amount
of views etc).

Are they randomly selecting what videos to get monetized views or what? I didn't do anything other than
sign up for the program. Also the gpm or rpm or whatever it's called is very small.....the video that earned $9
was for like 180k views. The other video that made $2 was for like 80k views...I have no idea how or why I got
paid lol.

Probably the other videos were uploaded before you got approved to the program because you only start getting paid after you get approved to the program. That's their policiy
