Hey Guys,

I have a money site which ranks in top 1-5 in Google for 336 keywords, one of the most competitive out of that and the one which brings me major revenue, had 27,100 volume per month and an estimated $3 CPC.
I have been working on it for quite some time and finally managed to get at #10 (2 days ago). I would like to make it to the top 3. So I opened my ahrefs and compared the top 3 results with mine.
I was surprised after what I saw. Here's a link to the screenshot - http://prntscr.com/3gyf8h

I seem to outrank my competitors on almost all fronts. Should I stop creating high PR backlinks to my page and let google do its job? Or should I keep optimizing further? Or have I already over-optimized?

What do you guys think?

How do you do your link profile? I am new to SEO and I would like some advice. I am currently making Web 2.0 and putting GSA SER links to them!

Sure man.

Solid On-Page Optimization. Moneysite <- High PR Homepage PBN Links <- Backlinks from GSA SER using verified lists

Sounds like whatever you are doing is working. Maybe you could share? :)

I tried ranking web 2.0's, but it didn't work great for me, so I bought PBN links. Maybe you should try that.

Try 50% Naked URL, 20% Exact Match Keyword, 10% Primary Keywords, 10% Secondary Keywords, 10% Brank Keywords - This is like playing safe.
You could also do 50% Naked URL and 50% Exact Match Keywords if its a good PBN with low OBL.

What type of anchor text would I request on the PBN Links?

You page is strong but the TOP 3 have big domain authority and that's what helps them to rank. I think you shouldn't risk over-optimizing and just try to improve other pages on your site so you increase your overall domain authority which will help for other keywords also.

Couldn't agree more. Should probably spend time on building brand based keywords.

Should I be buying Homepage post here on BHW? Also, I thought it was not safe for my money site. Is it possible to send the homepage post to my Web 2.0, then blast GSA on the homepage post for Tier 3?

It's safe. I speak from huge volume of data that I have. And yes buy it from BHW, go to Marketplace - > SEO - Linkbuilding. Try buying permanent homepage posts.

Would you be able to pm me a recommended supplier that you use? And what type of GSA links should I send to the PBN links?

The competitors may have less backlinks than you but, the content can be a high quality one. My website outrank many websites with many backlinks and high pr aswell, because of the content i think, because i have very low number of backlinks

Make your own lists...if u know how to use GSA, SB will be a piece of cake.

Yea i couldn't agree more to this, by looking at your profile i can say you have done "quite" some SEO compare to your competitors regardless to the quality of the links (you already mentioned they are from high PR PBN but not sure how good It is).

I would suggest you to stop building links for awhile to see how things change, try targeting more long tailed keyword and link that to your 27k MS page.

Please report back

Not all of the links are PBN ofcourse. I'd say 70% of them are general contextual links and 30% spam (I made this noob mistake when I had just started with SEO)

One thing you might want to check is how many top 100 sites for your keyword are linking to the toppers. That's a major deciding factor - numbers are good for reaching page 1, but after that it's all about quality(for competitive niches atleast).

keep doing what you are doing, it seems to be working pretty well. As for the competitor comparison, waht about your anchor text ratios, what are they like?

What is your on page SEO like? Maybe use some tool to verify how well thats been done.

other than that, maybe start filtering in some really high quality links - targeted, high authority, low quantity (in addition to what you are currently doing).
