Heres the story.
I was wondering why google was not updating and indexing new pages in my site. I had done a lot of work with backlinking and other methods that normally get pages indexed within a week or so, but for some reason, these weren't
.
What I decided to do was make a sitemap, so I logged into google webmasters to upload it and...
It appears that my dumbass uploaded a site map a while ago, however it was full of errors. The logs were showing me that google just re-scanned the sitemap around 14 hours ago, however because the sitemap was broken, I'm assuming it greatly decreased the potential of the natural links on my site to be indexed.
I removed the sitemap and I'm going to see if these pages get indexed. Will post the results.
I suggest everyone using google webmasters goes to check on their sitemaps from time to time. If you get a red X and have errors, take that shit down.
Good luck
