After hearing so much hype about Facebook and how some people are making thousands per day I decided to try it out. I didn't purchase any software or ebooks, as I wanted to see if I could acctually make money before making any investments. I created a female account and used my personal hotmail to add contacts, as well as posting on mafia wars and simply adding random people from mutual friends. Within a few days the account had over 400 friends, and I made my first fan page. I used one of the force invite scripts (found it along with a tutorial on Google) and I thought of a perverted fan page name, it was: (On Tape) Megan Fox and Toilet!!! OMG. Than I created a fast page on weebly with a link that said (click here to view) which linked to a hot picture of Megan Fox and a picture of a toilet. I put a cpaleet survey with a 100% opacity, that simply said complete this fast quiz to see this amazing picture. This weebly page was iframed to the facebook fan page after the user liked it and invited his friends. That fan page is deleted now (it was banned in about 36-44 hours), but last time I checked it had over 5500 fans. However according to my cpaleet statistics, I only received 998 clicks and my total profit for that fan page was slightly over 100$ (automatic surveys). I made 2 more fan pages that were both similar to the first one, both were banned in about 36 hours, each made around 100$ as well, however both had much more fans compared to the actual clicks. I am not complaining about the earnings, yet it seems that a lot of people are leaving without even clicking on a survey (close to 6000 fans, yet under 1000 clicks). I was wondering if people with larger fan pages such as 100,000 fans are only receiving 20k clicks? I guess it could also be my demographics and the people I targeted have seen to many surveys. Not to sure...

Yes this should work...but think if you would have 100 accounts with 4000 friends each :D :D :D

Your method is kind of "frat-boyish". I mean people don't fall for those pics anymore, you have to give them something they want and value. if you are going to lock content, it has to be good, like thousands of movies or mp3s or ebooks or something.

If you don't have that, then give them a straight up offer, like enter to win a free ipad or something.

Try those tricks and I bet your ctr will jump.

Nice test.

Good results.

You have two choices now.

Keep doing that, and just accept it as a turn'n'burn method, nothing wrong with that. Just have to be setup for it. You already know now that $100 a day can be made. Go ahead and do that X 2 each day and you have a respectable income. Automate.

Or.

Keep knocking yourself out to find a way to have long pages. You are right about it being overdone etc. Your demo probably doesn't make all that much of a difference. The variation in added friends is a tough call, since you don't really know how many were bots also :)

I am like Tetsuya121 in that I have seen the shakedowns going on at FB and don't think it makes sense to invest a lot of time and effort right now into the current methods being employeed there. I would prefer to take a unique approach that more than likely will not get burned within 36hrs .. or a month for that matter.

We all have to keep in mind that FB is run by a BHer... so these methods are going to continually become more effectively shutdown.

Nowadays most of CPA users are targeting FB to promote many stuff. But I prefer to use multiple account to do that part. Be creative, all we don't need to do mafia wars or movie related things. I have seen many opportunities in music fan pages.

Wont ************** ban you if you use such hot content?

They only ban if you use nudity, BUT his method is quite borderline since of course they aren't getting the actual image they think.

IMHO, surveys and E-mail/Zip submits (especially iPad, iPhone, etc.) are played out on FB and have been for quite some time. That is not to say you still cannot make money with these methods if you have enough friends/fans, and as mentioned above, if you offer QUALITY content. Otherwise, you need to find a better offer that isn't played out and bank from that as long as you can.

i beg to differ.. facebook has a limitless userbase so nothing can get played out. some ppl on faacebook bitch about surveys yet i'm still making $ with them.

i sorta agree with the above poster. havent tried this method yet but my results from pages i built in the past have been similar. like 1 or 2 survey clicks from 1k fans. no offense to the op but really i think 998 survey clicks from just 5k friends is pretty high. maybe it was the way he setup the page that made people want to do a survey. dunno. but it would be great if the OP could provide a little more explanation. to answer the op's question 998 clicks on survey clicks from 5000 visitors is an awesome ctr at least from my experience. I will replicate this method and post my results here.

Well that's not bad ;) All that work can be done in 30 min and you have 100$ in one day.

Posting on Mafia Wars group can make you up to 500 friends in just of 10 min work but how did you manage to get those 5000 to that fan page from one profile. Most of the people actually don't invite their friends to those groups.

Of course you can still make money with surveys and E-mail/Zip submits (I never said you couldn't), but what I was trying to say is there are other offers that people do not "bitch" about that could be making you a lot more money. Offers that the AVERAGE Facebook user has never seen, not even in their wildest dreams.

I think we can both agree although surveys and E-mail/Zip submits still have the potential to rake in some serious cash, it is not near the amount it used to be late last year or maybe even earlier this year. Website, I am guessing you have more experience with Facebook than a lot of others (mostly the ones in this thread), so let me restate what I previously said: IMHO, if you are new to Facebook marketing, do not expect to throw up a fan page, promote a survey or E-mail/Zip submit, and start making $1,000+/day. While possible, it's not likely.

To explain the high ctr (which I thought was low, since with movie sites its like 3 times higher for me) I think the people I added from my personal hotmail contact list might not have been spammed by surveys so much. So perhaps this was the first time they say a survey and were more reluctant to do it.

The person that said they only get 1-2 clicks for 1k fans isn't that really low? That means a page with 1 million fans would only have 1000-2000 clicks? Even with a 10% conversion that's only 100-200 leads...so that's 2000$ max from 1,000,000 uvs?

And I used the force invite script which is how I got over 5k fans from 400 friends.

But honestly I have no idea how some people claim to make 20k a day of facebook, unless they really scale it up.

Where can we find that script???

Is that code that when people go to invite need to put in their browser who will select all their friends with one click, the code works but people actually don't do that.
