If you've made $800 in 1 year and your goal is 1 million by sep 2013, then you're really going to have to do something drastic. Business growth tends not to just suddenly shoot up 125000% in 18 months.
I'm not trying to be mean, and I'm a great advocate of setting large goals, but the amount of marketers who'll actually manage to earn $1mil are very low, and the ones that do spend years building up their businesses, bar a few of them who got lucky fast.
You won't make $1mil with any 1 method or site, for that you need a mini-empire. If you actually write up a business plan and do the figures to see what you'll have to do to accomplish that I think you'll see what I'm saying.
I would aim for $50k this year, $150k next year, $300k the following year, then $500k, then $1mil. Those are still *hefty* goals, but they're achievable, and there's nothing stopping you breaking them, but by drawing up a real business plan and aiming for those figures you're far more likely to achieve success than just making $800 in 2011, then saying you'll make $1mil by sep 2013.
I was watching a program called 'money' yesterday, and episode 3 of it was about the rise of the "wealth creation gurus/coaches". All these people were spending $1000's on courses and all they got out of it was telling themselves they'll make a million. This one woman did some chant every day about how she's a millionaire and her $1million is on its way.
You don't want to get into that mindset. Look at the REAL millionaires/billionaires. You won't find any of them when they were starting setting silly goals like scaling their business from $800 to $1mil in 18 months with minimal investment.
Even on dragon's den when businesses are potentially going to get $200k investment they get laughed out the room when they talk about going from no profit to $1mil in a short period.
$800 in 1 year is not unimpressive. For a business $800 profit in 1 year is a good start, but treat it like a real business, draw up your business plan and plan your growth based on achievable goals rather than dreams.
1 sep 2013 is 19 months away from feb. So if you need to start making $52631/month from feb 1 to meet your goal.
If you're not there yet by march then that figure goes up to $55k
If you're not there by july 2012 that figure goes up to $71k
By sep 2012 if you're not there, that figure's now $83k
Each month you fail to reach the amount required to meet your goal in the next month exponentially increases.
See how planning it out elucidates what's involved? I'm making high 4 figures per month right now and I couldn't just suddenly shoot up to $55k in feb, not a chance. Each month that passes puts exponentially increasing pressure on you to make even MORE than you did last month. If you couldn't make $55k in feb, how can you make $58.8k in mar? or $62.2k in apr, then $66.6k in may. The reason most people set these random "$1mil" figures for next year is because it seems like a year is a long way off, and something unexpected and magical will happen before then.
meathead1234 has been building his web site brokering business for a while now, and in one of his threads he told us he's making, I think it was $15k-$20k/mo now. So that's an experienced business person's income after a couple of years of building his business. Unless meathead did something drastic he wouldn't just shoot up to $55k/mo even from $20k, so the chances of you being able to shoot up to $55k/mo from $66/mo are slim.
As I said, I'm definitely not having a go at you here. I'm trying to help you see what's required to build a REAL business. Business takes TIME and in 99% of cases growth is slow, between 100-500% per year, except maybe for some in the first year who'll get 1000-2000% growth.
