I've had mine published Thur, Fri of last week and then yesterday (Mon) also. These articles were submitted over a week ago though. If you submitted them on the 5th you just need to sit tight and they'll be reviewed and published within the next few days I'm sure.

redtide, I had 2 articles accepted, but with very low offers, around $2 each. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, because others have started with higher offers! I'll keep at it anyway.
One was rejected because it had too much 'promotion' - I assume that is because I had linked to the product's official page which also was selling it, so I'll resubmit without the links. In your ebook you mention linking to Amazon which is also obviously a store - have you ever had articles rejected for this reason?

Hi prawks,
Keep in mind that AC frowns big time on anything to do with Copyright violation, so I would tweak whatever you're doing so that this doesn't happen. They will shut down your accounts quickly for this. What are you doing to check for dupe content? Have you tried my free method of using DupefreePRO to confirm that an article is at least 85% unique from the original?
Regarding your rewriter, no biggy that they found the original content because that's what you're hiring them for, to turn it into a new original.
If they are bidding on a rewriting job then it goes without saying that the original content can be found online.regards,
They can also consider the actual writing style "too promotional" if you sound like you're just trying to hype a product or for instance in a review piece, if you're only pointing out the good things and don't point out the good and the bad. I've never had any issues with linking to Amazon as long as the above pointers are followed. You need to take an overall look at the article and see if it sounds like just an advertisement or sales pitch. If it does, then they'll consider it too promotional.

It does happen mate. It's hard for me to diagnose the low offers without consulting with you and reading over the articles. For instance, Iturnwell who posted about her high upfront offers had consulted with me through my AC service. We were able to get her going with strong upfront offers right from the start. Just something to consider. There's so many variables involved that pinpointing it can take some time. Twist and tweak what you're doing now until you start to see the higher offers.

Ok, I signed up to gaf and was about to post the project but then they decide to charge me 10USD instead of 5 to post the project. During the entire process it told me that I will need a balance of 5$. At the point of deposit it automatically filled out 5$ for me, but then in small brackets it says (min 10$) deposit required. So I proceed with 5$ anyway, but then it says that a 10$ deposit is required. Why is this?

@ grazor - Congrats mate, that's a good solid start. Stick with it and you'll be up to $5-$6 per article before you know it. Glad the advice has been helpful :biggthump
@ tbootz - hmm, did you sign up for the free trial project? I know when I signed up my first listing was a freebie and then they wanted the $5 deposit on the second listing. Perhaps they've changed their payment policies?
Maybe someone who's just recently started a new GAF account can chime in here.
I'm hearing good things about Mturk so maybe try them as well.

I haven't taken them up on their freebie because it says something along the lines that only "non rated" users can bid for the project which makes me think most of the good writers would be unavailable? Does this matter?
I looked at Mturk, it looks incredibly confusing so I have to figure that out a little. It seems to me that you have to make a HIT (or posting) for every article you want done, which seems time consuming if true and there doesn't seem to be any contact between me and the service provider until payment. Which I'm probably wrong about because that doesn't make sense. I'm gonna take a deeper look at it, but the site vocab takes some serious time getting used to.

@ Awinata - This only works for a limited amount of time, for some strange reason if you use "personal experience" consistently as your sources they end up starting to reject the articles and telling you to cite your sources.
@ tbootz - I thought the same thing, but found everyone in my writing team using the free trial. Another thing to keep in mind is that because they are new members they will be more open to rewriting at $1 per. Also they are limited to how many bids they can place so each bid is important to them. In general, they are more likely to appreciate just having the work.

Sorry for the dp, I couldn't edit my last post for some reason.
@ tbootz - remember, you can just use a proxy or an IP change and create multiple GAF accounts (I personally didn't have to use proxies with GAF but it's better to play it safe if you care about your deposits and accounts) so that you can then use multiple free listings to hire your rewriters. I had my writing team just doing it this way.

wow glad to see this thread is still as active as ever...for the new ones that dont know red, i was one of the earlier guys who bought his ebook before he started promoting it
1 month later, i am still enjoying success with AC and using my small success, I decided to share my knowledge to the people in my area who is interested in making money writing articles but have no clues whatsoever....for a small fee
summarizing it, one can easily earn from Red's knowledge via his ebook and use it to duplicate your success elsewhere.
PS: I do not resell his ebook or give it free but I conduct small seminars and charge them some $$ to listen to a half day seminar. Seems more fun and easier to earn $$.

That's awesome, It makes me feel really good that you feel like it relates to a lot more than just AC. I tried to write it that way in a sense, to strengthen motivation levels, determination levels etc. I thank Yukinari for my inspiration on that. It's meant to help each person take accountability for themselves and decide how important an independent income is to THEM INDIVIDUALLY, so I hope it's seen as not only about article writing, but as a foundation for Internet Marketing and online money making in general.
I wish you ALL the best in everything you do, whether AC, seminars/coaching or conquering Forex trades. You've got the right mindset mate, so you're bound to succeed.

Hi tbootz, you are right, they charge $5 per project postings but when you pay that amount they suddenly asks for $10. Then I figured out that they still charge you $5 per posting but to avoid extra charges from both parties their transactions' threshold is $10. Don't worry your money is safe with GAF carry on with your peojects there.

Usually how long does it take to start getting some bidders? And when you make multiple accounts do you have a fixed proxy for each or is it ok if you just rotate proxies around (like Tor?) Do they pick up on that sort of thing?
Anyway, I'm going to make another listing, reword and tweak the ad a little and see how it goes. I'm going to look into Mturk too because it seems like a good place to get things done cheap with little/no overhead. They really need to change their confusing terminology though heh.

When I placed my ads I was getting bids within an hour after posting and then by the next day I had about 10-15 bids. Remember to make your listing visible in as many categories as possible...ie: Copywriting, Data Entry, Proofreading, SEO etc. You want your ad to reach as many people as possible.
