Made $30 on two articles today

One of my GAF account was banned too, I'm sure its due to sharing contact information. At the time they banned my account my three project was live for $15 (refundable) and I was circulating that money for my different projects. I was sharing my contact info like missionlanding[at]gm*ail[dot]c0m so that thier bots could not catch me up. I don't know where did I missed, may be they personally checked my account.

To avoid this problem we can share our contact information via attachments but this will work till they personally check your account.

Don't worry Prawks, its a part of game, just move on with other account.

How long does it take on average four articles to be approved? I submited a couple 4 days ago now.

@ firefly - Exactly right mate, (Damn, I agree with you a lot...what's up with that? lol :tee One thing to keep in mind also is that sometimes the bidder can report you if they don't like the fact that you're trying to skate the system by sending them offsite contact information. I've never had this happen, but it is a possibility also.

Like firefly said, it's part of doing business with GAF if you're trying to avoid the listing fees.

It probably indicates that the sites you're linking to aren't matching your articles content closely enough. Also, if you're quoting people within your articles you need to cite the exact quotes from the website you got it from. (I usually get rid of quotes within my articles to avoid having to deal wih this) Take a look at AC's submission guidelines and they expalin all about it.

They take 3-10 on average Dodge. Again, it's really a mute point because once you've been submitting every day you're getting paid nearly every day from articles you submitted 3-10 days ago. Any time lag in getting paid dissapears after about a two week period of daily submissions.

Okay, thanks. I found one really good rewriter but after doing my first 2 articles he has told me that he can get paid better elsewhere... He said it was taking him 20-25 minutes per article on average and that was too long.

How long do you think it should take to write the articles roughly? I estimated around 15 minutes if you rewrite the content whilst going through the original article.

Also, could you tell me what countries your rewriters are from? Most my bidders are Indian and apart from one, they all had terrible English or had blatently copied samples from elsewhere.

Edit: My first article just got rejected. Really pissed off. It was a sample article I was sent and passed PlagiarismDetect with 0% copied but it turns out the article was almost wholly copied from about.com . I'm just annoyed because it will probably now reflect on the payments I get for other articles. Furthermore, I'm guessing it will have flagged up my account already. From now on I'll be sticking to Copyscape!

It depends, based upon each individuals writing skills. If the writer told you that they weren't willing to write for that amount, did you follow up by asking them why they bothered wasting your time by bidding? lol. Again, this is all part of the weeding out process.

One of my writers is from India, another from Canada, and the other two are from the States. Again, you're going to have to weed through the bad rewriters to get to the good ones.

What exactly did the comments next to the rejected article say?

No I didn't bother following up, just a bigger waste of time! But it's the second person I had like that, and both were actually very good writers.

I've just closed my previous ads and started a new one, going to start afresh.

The comments were:

After it being rejected I did another PlagiarismDetect scan and it still came up as 0%, so then I did a Copyscape and realised how much it was copied!

How detrimental do you think it is to my account having one rejected? I got an offer for another one that was submitted that day - $2.18 which seems rather low - it was a restaurant review and I thought it was quite well written! I have a few other articles submitted on various technical items, so I'll see how much I'm offered for them.

Red, I had 2 articles rejected today as well, both in the depression niche. Both were very well written. I even wrote a bit in and improved the article and both passed copyscape. I got the same message as above. What do you think is going on here?

Mine was justifiably rejected - it truly was copied lol.

But I thought the payment was a bit low for the one that was accapted..

Hmmm, without looking over your articles it's hard to say why they rejected them for dupe content. For some odd reason Plagiarism Detect has been really sketchy lately with how accurate it's results are, so I recommend to everyone to avoid using it and either follow my method of using DupefreePRO or invest a few dollars in Copyscape itself.

@ Dodge - If it was only the one article that was rejected for dupe content you should be fine continuing to submit to that account. The rule of thumb is that if more than 5 articles get rejected in a weeks time, I would let that account lay low or only submit a few articles to it a day. After a week of accepted articles I would then go back to submitting however many you want up to the 10-11 per day maximum.

I like how they ask you to still submit the rejected article for performance payments. Like they know even imperfect articles and dupe content a are still gonna make a few bucks a month for them.

lol exactly, not good enough for upfronts, but hey...we'll take em for performance. :smashfrea

if it wasn't dupe content issues I would say tuck the articles away and resubmit with some tweaks, but it's your call on that mate.

I totally appreciate the kind words. Go into it with a determined kind of mindset and you'll end up killing it I'm sure. Use your first 50 submissions as testing to get a feel for what's bringing the highest upfront offers and then lay low with any account that has more than 5 rejections in a week...do this and you'll be good.

Once you've been doing it for a bit you get a feel for how to avoid rejections and how to keep your upfronts rising. Remember, that the partner calls get offered based on your previously published articles, so try to keep it consistent and show them how well rounded your articles topics are. This and your clout level (clout level is based on articles views) determines whether you make $80 on just 4 articles. I'ts obviously worth it. :headbang::headbang:

@ everyone - just a reminder that Pagiarism Detect has been giving some sketchy results for dupe content lately, so I would use my free DupefreePRO method or invest a few dollars in Copyscape. (investing in Copyscape isn't a bad idea anyway)

I wanted to talk about this again because I had spoke of using PD in my book and didn't want anyone starting right out by giving AC dupe content because of Plagiarism Detects newfound flakiness.

Yea, I use the free version and then usually have to follow up with a few of the bookmarking sites to get the submissions finalized. (sometimes I don't even bother) Remember also that there's other Bookmarking tools available like BMD (bookmarking demon)

Sure, you can add a few bookmarked links to the AC submissions as long as they're directly related to the topic of your article. AC may reject it if you look like you're just trying to promote something with the link. I won't add more than two bookmarked links to any single article also.
