Made $30 on two articles today

Maybe it's just a site maintenance. It gives us time to write/rewrite more articles and do other things. Hopefully, we'll learn something sooner or later.

OnTopic: How much does AC pay for audio/video?

From my experience with audio/video it isn't much unfortunetly. What's funny is that AC gets really picky about what they'll accept in these categories but when they do accept them they offer you so little that it makes it hardly worth it. At the time I tested with it they were offering $1-$1.50. When I talked to some of the other top sources at AC they had gotten the same low offers and had given up sumitting them.

If anyone has had higher offers for this please post up if you would.

@ everyone - The log in problems are just site maintenance I believe. I talked to a couple of friends from AC (who are doing AC completely whitehat) and they're having the same problems with getting logged in today.

Gotta love those AC site glitches ;)

red i have another question regarding gaypal:

when you pay your writers, do you send the payments as purchase or as payment to friends and relatives?

If you pay them as purchase (service), PP charges a fee to your writers.

Sorry for my stupid question but my writer candidate asks me to pay him the gaypal fees.

No problem mate, I'm a firm believer in the fact that there's no such thing as stupid questions.

I always send mine as services rendered. If a rewriter is a good writer and I appreciate their quality of work then I have no problems with covering any fees that gaypal charges them. (they're very minimal fees anyway) This way you show good faith to your writers and they're more likely to go out of their way for you regarding deadlines etc.

For example, one of my writers that I've always treated really well was willing to stay up until 2:30 am in the morning to meet a deadline for me on two AC partner calls. I'm sure they wouldn't have been willing to do this if I hadn't been treating them well with little bonuses etc.

Just a small example of how treating your writers well can pay off in the end.

For people having problems logging in; it's AC fucking up. Apparently it's pretty common.

Just a question, I noticed you mentioned that you pay your writer's via paypal. Knowing this, what keeps a writer from opening there own (temporary AC account) and profiting all funds?

If they're working at the rate of $1/400 word article they'll most likely be from somewhere other than the USA and will think they can't become a member of AC due to the restrictions... of course we know otherwise thanks to redtide!

I've read through redtide's book and put an ad up on GAFL but the difficult part now is just making a list of rewrites to be done.

I was wondering if anyone could give me information on how much they find the average pay is for reviews of various products? This would probably be one of the easier things to write on because there will always be some products that haven't been written about on AC before, or will have very few reviews? Another alternative could be hotel reviews..

Both of the above would be quite easy to find rewritable material for but I'm just not sure if the pay would be worthwhile for them (considering I'd also be paying a rewriter)?

Thanks :)

Well that blows my "Thinking outside the box" idea out of the water..lol

Why would you pay for them? RedTide explains several ways to get content for free. Do a search on here of unique article wizard.
I meant whether or not what I'd be paid for the reviews would be worthwile or not? I wanted to know the average rate for reviews.. :)

What do you do when P*aypal limits you and asks for ID, etc, on a throwaway acct?

........
I'm not sure if you've considered it, but have you tried changing your mac address if you have a cable modem to get unique IP's, or tried resetting your modem if you're on DSL? You may look into these methods as well. Let me know and I'll dig up a few video tutorials on how to do it.

Good luck

Do you or anyone else here have any video tutorials on how to change the cable modem ips frequently? I do also use a wireless router. Thanks for all your work.

This book is a good deal. Thanks, redtide, for recommending it in the first place. I hope you do some sort of follow-up book, where you tell of what more profitable uses you have found for original articles.

Thanks durcx,

I'm glad you liked it. I probably will continue to write guides regarding both AC and profiting from articles in general in the future. It's just a matter of finding the time to do it while I'm working on AC.

Best of luck and thanks again!

I got in fine right now. None of my accounts were banned. Might want to give it a try.

Thanks for posting up with the update Milly :)

I already posted up about this mate

Some of my highest upfront offers come from reviews.

Namely, computer/tech related, automotive, vacation destinations, baby products etc.

Keep in mind that everyone's upfront offers for review pieces are going to vary greatly based on their clout level, page view ratios and a number of other factors.

Most of my reviews nowadays bring in $4.75-$5.75 for upfront offers.

It's definetely worthwhile mate if you know how to give them just what they're wanting.

What do you do when P*aypal limits you and asks for ID, etc, on a throwaway acct?

On a throwaway Gaypal account? Meaning you're linking each AC account to a seperate fake PP account?

Please clarify

I found some great video tutorials for changing my DSL modem's IP on You*Tube. I'm pretty sure you'll find the same thing for cable modems for resetting your mac address.

I'm not sure if you've already tried this and were looking for a faster alternative to what I mentioned. If so hopefully someone else can chime in

Best of luck

Thanks for the quick reply redtide :)

Also I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the article rewriters software on AC with any success?

No problem Dodge,

Most of the rewriter software is better suited to rewriting blog and site content in my experience. You can spend so much time editing it to bring it up to AC's standards that you could have hand rewritten a number of articles in the meantime. Rewriting software is stlll lacking unfortunetely.

the only good rewritter software i encounter is power article rewriter and i would say even it is not suited for AC. Best rewriter is still a human. my 2 cents.

I have a question.
Today I check payment in my A.C., status is "paid" and when check in my Paypal it not transaction from A.C. Why?

Dodge, you are right, reviews generally get higher upfront payments. For my all AC friends, I got a source of 1000s of reviews in all niches and the source is E*pinions. I got $3.50+ for all those reviews (Technology+Hotels+Gym Equipments).
