I have two ways to suggest which I did in past.
1) You raise your rates to $1.25 and create favorable situation for you projects at freelancer sites.
2) Post your ads at Criags*list in Job Offered-> writing/editing section in free US cities or some english speaking countries. I did this and got excellent response. I was getting 6-7 replys daily for each ad. But here, you have to find CL's expert who will do something to stick your ads for 5-7 days. this would be a one time action in terms of efforts and money. Within $20- $30 you will have a team of 10-15 good rewriters.

Hi x bassist...what kind of music do you play? I play some bass as well. Mostly progressive metal and hard rock, classic rock. Anything hard but melodic
 
Thanks for the encouragement, redtide. But what do you exactly mean by "not exactly what they are looking for"? Of course, it would be difficult for you to tell, if you do not actually see the articles, and I will not be bothering you by sending them over to you, but my guess would be it's subjects that I'm writing on.
 
You bet, and I didn't mean to sound like I was jumping to conclusions as to why their offers were in that range, I was generalizing that they want something more/different to give the higher offers for them. I'm glad to take a look and pinpoint it with you if you want

Hey Red and x bassist, I'm too into soft rock music, I have a little band here in India. I play drums in my band. Music is like my life since last 6 years.

That's awesome! We need to start a BHW band. We could call ourselves the AC Blackhatters lol. I play the bass but was in a band for a number of years as a guitar player (my main thing) so now all we need is a singer and keyboard player!

Very good point. You can also use a younger brother/sister or a niece/nephew. I use my 17 yr old niece at times when she needs the extra money and I have the work for her.

ontopic: today, i copied an article from pdf ****mag (2006). Check on copyscape, and ding ding. That article unique. Good density either.
should i try to sumbit it ? or must rewrite first ?

I've got a Kramer "neck through the body" guitar running into a Marshall cabinet stack and head.

Yes, the partner calls appear along with the regular low paying c4c's in the assignment desk. The partner calls are differentiated by a special icon (you'll see a legend under the assignment desk that denotes the difference between a c4c and the higher paying partner calls)

anyone else having trouble logging into AC? I keep getting invalid email or password, even when i try to reset the password from email. Maybe that little meeting they had had some effect?

I'm having that problem too. I have also reset my password and still nothing.
