Update on my progress with AC using Redtide's ultimate AC guide.....
I followed everything in the book to a tee, submitted 20 articles on Monday through 2 separate accounts following the directions in the book. All of the articles from Monday were reviewed and accepted on Thursday and I got paid for the very first time today (Friday)!! Very exciting!
I found a few great writers on GAF, so I would recommend them as opposed to elance. I posted ads on both sites and only found writers willing to be paid $1.00 per rewrite at GAF and yes, I had to weed out some bad writers, but I was able to find 4 really good ones with just one ad.
I've been submitting articles everyday. The ones I submitted on Tuesday were reviewed today (Friday) and I accepted the payments for them. Not sure if I will get the payment tomorrow or Monday, but I know that a payment is indeed coming, which is also very exciting. One was rejected because it had a dead hyperlink, so make sure when you're creating an anchor text with your keyword that your link works or else they will reject it. I fixed it and resubmitted.
The average I've been getting paid per article is $3.67, with a few between $4.00 and $4.30. I'll have to do some tweaking to get the payments higher, but I'm an AC newbie and think that's a pretty good starting point for someone who has never done this before. What I'd like to do now is scale up and get a couple more accounts and put all of my rewriters to work. I'm only using 2 of the rewriters I found on GAF because I currently only have 2 accounts with AC. I will also start looking out for the "calls for content" and claim those. Not sure if there's a specific time that they are posted, but I've missed them all week.
So, just about a week after I bought Redtide's book, I've made back the cost of the book 10 times over.
I've made a few bucks here and there online, but nothing consistent until now. So, I owe a HUGE thanks to this forum, to this thread and to Redtide for being so awesome!
