Made $30 on two articles today

Well, paypal has limits on how much you can spend with an unverified account I believe. So if you have money in a paypal account, and you hit the limit, the money is locked until you verify.

Which is why I thought of making new accounts and transferring all money to that account before it reaches the limit, but not sure at what point.

I'm not sure how the unverified paypal accounts work (ie verified = having a bank account linked; unverified = no bank account or credit card linked to it)

EDIT: Apparently, unverified accounts sending limit is $0, so I have no way of actually using my money. Is there a way to get around this? I have heard having the seller request an invoice and it will work that way. Anyone have any experience in this?

Hi guys! Till now I havent written product review on AC. I am thinking of writing one now. But I wanted to know whether AC would pay more for a rewrite of a review from any Tech site (I mean they have a specific review format like, General description, build quality, Design etc.) OR a product review which seems to be written by a simple(layman) customer who owns that product.
Which format would get higher offer?

You can withdraw the money from paypal by requesting a check or direct account transfer. But the cheques are account payee and if you gave wrong name, you are out of luck mate

I haven't been around these parts as much lately,
but I wanted to comment that I bought Redtide's guide
for my assistant to use - she's blonde. Seriously.

With that in mind, she did get articles approved and
on the high-end she got a couple approved for $7
each. Now - that excited her.

She said "Zep, they paid me a margarita for each article,
so how cool is that?".

a specific niche and becoming an expert on AC as far
as rewriting? I've read a few pages of the thread and
have the guide - just wanted to check for the assistant.

I just received my performance pay for the month and I'm happy to report that I got paid for my black hat page views. Whoohooooooo!!!! I generated around 4000 views with the method i'm using. So no more twitter and forum posting for me. Thanx you guys!!!

Is anyone on here a "Featured Contributor" at AC? If so, what are the ranges you are paid for articles?

Quick question: Which program are you guys using to see how many % of an article is unique? I mean I use copyscape and Dupe Free but it doesn't tell you how much of the entire article is unique.

@ stool - I'm not sure if you found a solution yet (I assume your problem is you don't have a bank account/credit card for verifying?).

@ prasemjit - Actually a combination of both is optimal. You want them to come from a perspective of personal experience with the product and also include the technical details whenever possible. At the same time you don't want the whole review to just look like a "list of specs" either.

@ Zeproken - Hey Zep, I totally remember you man, how have you been? Awesome to hear that she's doing well with it. To get $7 for general category articles is excellent. It sounds like she's enjoying the money too, drink up!

If I'm reading your question right, tell her that AC does like "experts within niches" but let her know that she has to build it up slowly over time. If she tries to hit them too quickly with too many articles within the same niche, AC will start to lower the upfronts and possibly reject perfectly good content.

@ tchashow - Frikkin awesome! Keep in mind that the testing phase isn't over until you've been paid through two pay periods though. I've been paid for some of the "blacker" techniques I've tested for the first partial month, but then they caught on by the time the second pay period rolled around.

You never know without trying though!

woah i think i got a real picky ac editor this time... made a new account and submitted 3 articles; for two of them they offered me 2usd (the quality was exactly the same as for my other accounts where i get usually 3usd+) and they declined the best one that is really well written, specific and that has just very few related articles on ac. the best is that their reason for denial was that they believe that this topic is not unique enough lol. anyway, i got my first 4,35 for an article on my other acc plus a message from the staff that this article is very well written and i should do anything to get views on that

oh, and thanks for the information regarding the interviews; i guess i will stick to articles then

@ GhostofOyama - Cool deal, glad the book has been helping and am hoping to get the

My main account has been given featured contributor status twice. The first time came at a point that I was averaging around $4.75-$5.75 per article, and the most recent time they were averaging $5.50 - $6.75 approx. The main thing about getting featured is the huge boost in your page views. Some of my articles were getting 1K-1400 views a day just from the account being featured.

@ CaptRU - Based on your question, I don't think you're using Dupefree correctly. Are you pasting the original article in one window pane/the rewrite in the other, and then hitting "compare"? If you are then you'll see the uniqueness percentage in a box at the lower center of the software. Let me know if I'm misreading your question and you mean something else.

@ johnconnor - If all things were equal to the other accts submissions then yeah, it sounds like you probably got a picky one. Were the articles all in the same niche?

What I mean is to check my article to that what is available on the net. I remember in college they had this software called "Turnit in" that did it I think. I can't seem to find that software so was wondering if you knew of any other software that did it?

@ rox12345 - I posted up some of the details about it on the last page, but here's a little snippet from the books overview that I'll copy/paste...

In another chapter, I'll outline a system that I've tested over the last year that will allow you to NEVER have to lose an accounts articles/page view payments as the account reaches the $600 W9 verification.

Up until now we've had to sacrifice all of the articles published to an account and lose those page views forever once it reached the cutoff at between $500 and $600 in total earnings. We would then have to sacrifice all of the hard work put into the account in order to free up another Paypal email slot, right?

@ CaptRU - Ok I'm tracking with you. Besides Copyscape and Plagiarism Detect, I'm not aware of any good stand alone apps for online duplicate checking. I would maybe post up in the Lounge and see if any others have suggestions.

Hey Red, just want to thank you for an amazing thread, so much incredible info, and its free. Now i cant wait to actually get the book. so i can really take my AC money making to the next level.

Couple questions regarding international accounts;

i was thinking of signing up with my main PP email and then using that to just test my article writing and get it polished (while earning performance $) so that when i use your strategy to get a US account and make $ via upfront payment my bids are $3+ instead of getting a lot of rejects and low bids.

or should i avoid using my own PP account and instead use my brothers to test and improve my writing and only use my PP account for US AC accounts???

Your idea is an excellent one. If it's ok with your brother, it would be smart to use his PP and use yours once you learn the ropes. I would still submit for upfront payments though. I don't think you would learn as much by doing display only as you would with upfronts. It could serve as your testing to start right out with solid offers on your own accounts. Btw, I like your methodical approach.

Also, thanks much and enjoy the book when you get it. Just to clarify, the new one that Hammad was referring to will definitely lose anyone that doesn't have the current book. This one won't cover things like non US account creation, getting paid for rejected content, avoiding the banhammer etc. It's a direct extension of the content from the current book. I hope that makes sense man.

@ everyone - One thing I want to cover again just to clarify, whether you're a US citizen or not, or using a W9 through AC or not, you're still responsible for filing taxes for all of your AC earnings as per your regions tax laws. This is important.

@red: concerning the articles; no they weren't the same niche but the content was well written and informative. btw, they seem to hate my new account, 2 other articles were rejected as well..wtf? (how to's btw) pretty annoying.

concerning the tax, thats something i wanted to know earlier... is it really a must that i file tax (will paypal tell my tax office that there are too many earnings?)? the thing is that i'm a student and i have to finance everything by myself plus i support my mom but am allowed only to work up to a certain amount per month (what i already do). if im above this amount i will lose my students status which means way higher health insurance costs, and they'd start deducting really high fees/taxes from the income that is above this certain amount that i am allowed to earn monthly. so basically if i'd be honest and file taxes/tell them about my im income, i could stop doing everything im because in the end i'd work my a** off but could keep maybe 40% of my overall im earnings. tricky :S

I tried doing a video game review because I thought I would get a high offer from them but instead, I was offered a measly $2.XX! WTF! I was surprised. Also, I noticed that the editor removed all of my sources at the end of the review. Are we suppose to add sources when doing video game reviews?
