Made $30 on two articles today

I've got to say, since purchasing Redtide's ebook, I spent a solid 2 days just absorbing it. I've now started the leg work , as in going to my niche sites and browsing for the articels that I'd like rewritten., creating my niche folders etc etc. Is it me or isn't it a hellava lot of work to do. I know nothing is easy and in this instance looking for articles to rewrite shouldn't be such a big deal right ? Well wrong.

I'm starting with AC slow before I begin to scale it up for many reasons, one being I need to gauge the feedback of the niches I've chosen to lower the chances of having rejections, hopefully I'll have very few and secondly it's alot to sink your teeth into to be quite honest to just jump in the deep end, you've got to progress slowly I reckon between the accounts you have. Those among you who make a living from AC hats off cause , believe, its alot of hard work never mind not having to write the articles yourself.

Gotta give credit where credit is due, you guys are awesome. I suppose overtime I'll get better at it and it'll take less time. It's about planning ahead as well too so good luck to us who are on the AC grind, make that money !

@redtide- Thanks red, I've been writing a lot of articles myself because I find good keywords but can't find an article so I end up researching the topic and writing a completely unique article which takes forever. I use up nearly all my time doing this and it starting to make me despise writing. lol. So I'm going to try it your way and hopefully I can ease my headache

lol. I guess I started braggin too early. I just got a string of 2+ offers on one of my accounts. What the hell??? Right when i think I have A*C figured out, they prove me wrong. *sigh* I think I may have submitted too many articles based around the same niche because they are all the same quality that I have been giving A*C. *big sigh*

@ Topgurl - It definitely takes some work especially in the beginning. Monetizing AC isn't a get rich quick scheme or what have you. I like to put it like this, it's easy in the sense that it's quick money into your Paypal without having to wait and see if it's going to pay off like niche site building for example, but just like anything, it takes work and needs to be treated like a business.

What you're shooting for is to get your upfronts consistently high enough to be able to afford to outsource the actual scraping of content and submissions (by giving the person you hire a copy of Danny's AC Mass Submitter), once you do that it puts you in just a managerial role so that it's a lot more "hands off". There's still a lot of things you need to juggle and deal with, but the rewards are definitely worth it.

Keep a persistant "do-or-die" mindset, pay close attention to what you did right based on your highest upfronts, and make some money!

@ tchashow - lol I hear ya, i started out by doing all of my own writing too (which in the longrun was defenitely a benefit) but even with using DNS it becomes a drain. I didn't really appreciate AC as a long term money maker until I had my whole writing team in place. At that point things started to click. Once you take the time to train and hire a dependable scraper it helps a lot too. By doing these two things it allowed me to concentrate solely on the promotion tactics for PV's.

@ absinthekid1 - I'm rockin and rollin on it as we speak actually I'm getting pretty excited about getting it released but want to make sure it will more than back-up the reputation and info the first book offers. As you know from the first one, I don't rehash other peoples stuff so it's pretty time consuming to put together.

Here's a little teaser of one of the chapters though:

I crunched the numbers on all of my accounts highest upfront offers and page views, then compiled kind of a mega-list of my highest paying niches. Besides these main niches, there are thousands of subniches within them that can be used to good effect. This particualr chapter also has a list of free subniche finding tools that I haven't seen anyone on BHW talking about. All of them are web based too. My goal is to have it released before Feb. 1st.

@ tchashow - Ughh, it sounds like you could be right about hitting them with too many from the same niche too quickly. Did you submit them all on the same day? I usually try to spread out articles that are closely related by at least a few days.

It's either that or they're trying to get you to bring up your page view average (all things being the same as you were doing previously like quality of the titles, keyword density etc).

Hoping to hear you report back that the offers came back up to $5+. Let us know if you would.

hey red, thanx 4 replying. I don't know what the hell is going on with those articles. My page views are pretty decent. I average about 500 per article so I really am clueless on why the hell they offered me $2 upfronts. Maybe I just got a horrible reviewer. And even though I based my articles around the same keyword, they were no where close to the same. Here are some examples of the keywords I targeted: hospital bed, bed sheets, comfortable beds, etc,. I already knew you said not to mass submit same niche articles on the same account but I didn't really consider the keywords I used to be in the same niche. But that's most likely the problem and I guess I won't do that anymore.

Guys,i just started to use hootsuite to promote my articles.The first day I had 230 clicks in hootsuite and 0 in AC what's happening?Should i use AC's Share link or it's ok to use the ow.ly link from hootsuite???

How long do manual reviews usually take?

Has someone ever submitted interviews to AC (that you have done by yourself, of course)? Any experiences, tips?

@streetballa- If you started to use hootsuite yesterday then your clicks probably won't show up until monday. I've noticed that usually the page views don't update until the day after but since it's the weekend that might be why they are not showing.

@sneeks- Manual reviews take up to 2 weeks but they usually get reviewed in 3-5 days. This has mentioned previously in the thread by red.

@john connor- I haven't submitted any. So I can't help you on that brother. Have you tried searching A*C for any?

@lebody- LMAO! I know this is your first post and all but maybe you should try reading something before you post such a ridiculous question. If you didn't notice, the section you posted in is called Ass_ocia_ted Con_tent and Writing Articles. If you can't figure out what A*C is from that then I don't think anyone can help you. GAF stands for get_a_freelancer. It's a website that you can hire people if you want to do outsourcing.
Next time buddy I advise you to read because many people get angry when you post questions that have been previously answered.

Got a query regarding your "foreign relations" section. You advise to once your AC account is nearing the 450 /500 mark leave it be that it earns you residual income. My question then is this, if you do this will you not have to create another paypal address to facilitate the rest of AC accounts being created to ensure payments ? Since the residual earners can't be removed from your current paypal list cause then how will you be paid. Or have I totally missed the mark. Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

You can have multiple email accounts linked to ONE paypal account if that is what you are asking.

@ absinthekid1 - Besides a mega-list of my top performing articles niches (for both upfront pay and page views), it will have 3 chapters dedicated to 9-10 of the most recent methods I've been using to drive page views/clout, another mega-list of sites to scrape your content from for rewriting, a chapter covering how to free yourself up from scraping content yourself and outsourcing it, a chapter explaining how I trained my scraper and where I hired her (not GAF) etc etc.

In a nutshell it's not going to rehash anything from the 1st book. It will expand upon and add to the info from it. I know you have the 1st one already so you will flow right into the 2nd one, but anyone that doesn't have the 1st one will be pretty lost with the new book. I'll let you know as I get closer to having it released mate.

@ streetballa - Like tchashow mentioned, AC's page views aren't updated in real time so you will probably see them update early this week. Sometimes on my clout 10 accout it will take as long as 4-5 days to update the views. It's a glitch that AC can't seem to get right for some reason. it's always updated fully by the time I'm ready for my performance payout though.

@ johnconner - Interviews are typically better left for performance payments only in my experience. They can be awesome for driving page views based on who it is that's being interviewed, but they were lowballing me when I submitted them for upfronts so I stopped altogether. If you go ahead and submit a few, let us know how it goes because they could have had a change of heart (it was about 2 months ago I submitted my last one for upfront pay.)

@ tchashow - Thanks for covering for me mate.

@ Topgurl - When you bring an account up to $450-$500 you just attach a new AC account to one of your 2 available Pay*pal accounts (16 AC accounts can be attached to 16 Pay*pal emails). It also doesn't hurt to already have a fresh AC account ready and waiting as you approach the cut off. Doing it this way allows you to still collect the residual page views after you've stopped submitting to the account for upfronts.

Then just rinse and repeat this process until you've used up all 16 Pay*pal emails (will obviously take a long time). At this point just disconnect whichever AC accounts are the closest to the $600 W9 cutoff and start again with a fresh Pay*pal email/AC account. I always try to get my accounts disconnected myself rather than waiting until they suspend the account for W9 verification, this allows me to play it safe as far as them deciding to dig deeper into my accounts and possibly ban them.

Yes it happened with me too! Last update of page views was 7 jan. I think they will update it by tommorrow (hoping so as my first performance payout will be on this wednesday!)
