Another reminder while I think of it is to try to time the creation of your new accounts to take advantage of the "new content producer bonuses" they offer every few months. It's a quick way to pocket a chunk of extra change.

@ tchashow - You're welcome. With regards to the plane crash assignment, I've never let the fact that I "may not" have a first hand account of the story stop me. The vast majority of Partner Calls for instance expect a first hand account. Just fire up your imagination and make some $$.

Brought your guide last week and STILL haven't taken action b/c trying to sort stuff in my brain. Have searched thread and found most of my answers, including a handy list of sellers for PVA's.

Just one key question left....why would A/C not simply move to stop overseas folks like moi from submitting by asking for a W8/W9 right up front? Too much admin?

I read earlier in the thread that A/C was thinking of ways to elimiate overseas submissions. What is happening with this now? I'm thinking I should be proactive in the setup JIC. The post I read was around July '09.

Im using Relic's Mass Submitter.. I'm concerned that with AC's new review option (where you have to check if the article is a product review) I will be banned for not selecting that it's a review...

has anyone had any issues with this?

@ Fireboltgirl - The main reason is because they make so much money from the content of overseas writers. They have to protect themselves legally, but secretly they're loving the revenue that overseas writers articles bring them.

At that time I had heard a rumor that they were going to try to put something in place to block out overseas submission, but it turned out to just be that... a rumor. No worries, as of now my source said there's nothing in the works.

Btw thanks for the buy, but why would you need to buy PVA's when I walk you through step by step how to do it yourself in the book? Just curious.

@ Anthraxx - Danny's supposed to be working on an update for the ACMS that will add this option, but until then you can just paste this at the bottom of your review articles when using Danny's software.

what do I put in these images fields...to submit an image with the article

@Anthraxx- you don't have to put anything in the image fields if you don't want to submit an image. Just skip that part.

No but I do want to submit an image.. So my question is, what do I put in the fields?

i just started and i made 6$
i wanted to start out little, just in case i screw up and lose my money

@anthraxx- you just put the link to the image you want to submit in the field. Here's a tutorial article on A*C that I think can explain it better than I can. Hope it helps man.

@ Anthraxx- Let me know if you need further clarification about adding images. You can also read AC's own submission guidelines. Make sure you're acrediting each image (like the guidelines explain) for Copyright purposes.

@ Sonokai - Congrats on taking action and making your first money with it. Glad the book was helpful! You're playing it smart by starting slow, just take a little time to get a feel for it and then scale it up as you go.

@ sss_emperor - You lost me with that one...what's the point of your post?

B/c as I read the thread I saw Tyrgus asking to who to buy PVA's from...and you mention you were coming out with an updated version of the guide...and I hadn't yet check to see if your method worked and put it all together and thought it might not - !! Also I'm not sure if I need a proxy thing/IP hiding method when I sign up...?

Hey guys, i'm a little dissapointed that i can't get past the 2.24 mark.I just submitted 10 articles on a new account(general article,product reviews) and i got close to 2 dollars.Also on my other 2 account the max upfront i got was 2.24 from 60 articles.

Red if I send you to check out one or two articles could you tell me what i'm doing wrong?

PS:It's ok for a HOW TO rewrite to have the same title like the source article,like "how to cook pancakes" or should it be smth like A Guide on How to Cook Pancakes?

And another thing. Anyone knows the page(s) where is talked about article promotion on twitter ,it's damn hard to look for something i this thread .

@ Anthraxx - The article that tchashow listed explains exactly what to put in each of the two fields and how to format the credits and copyright. As far as inputing a photo url, just right click on whatever picture you're wanting to add to your article and save it to your computer, then when you're on AC just hit "upload" and submit the saved picture from your computer.

@ Fireboltgirl - Yes, like I explained here and in the book, it's always safer to use a proxy change/IP change when registering and signing into each AC account (along with clearing your cookies and cache with CCleaner). About 5 pages back in this thread, I posted a tutorial on how to try to change your IP address, and then some of the best solutions for proxies.

It's all a building process. Depending on what kind of mindset you approach it with, the quality of your rewriters and how persistent you are, it can definitely be made a longterm steady income. At first it will be less steady because you're fine tuning what works for you personally, testing your best performing articles etc, and getting everything put in place. The limiting factor tends to be the flakiness of some of the AC editors. Once you do your fine tuning/testing of your best performaing articles, it becomes a lot easier to predict how the editors will react to your content.

Good luck with getting your rewriters put in place! Remember, there's a bunch of sites listed in this thread that you can use over and above GAF to get them hired.

@ streetballa - It sounds like you're not giving them the kind of content they want yet. Consistent offers in the $2-$2.50 range typically indicate that you're still missing some key elements within the articles. It could be things like bad titles, keyword usage, keyword selection, grammar, sentence structure...any number of things.

As far as your questions, no, you never want to use the same title as the source article has. In your example title with a rather broad keyword of "cook pancakes", I would structure it something like this "Cook Pancakes Like a Pro: An Overview of Proper Flapjack Cooking".

Now, if you're typically using broad keywords like "cook pancakes", this could be why your articles are getting consistenly low offers also. Something more tightly focused like "cook blueberry panckes" for example, would be more specific and in line with what AC are wanting.

As far as the Twitter info, I think it was like page 16 if I remember correctly. There's also a great post by JonWrong around page 25 where he talks about his use of the Twitter method.

I remember you, I'm glad you got your Internet back up and running and can fire into AC again. Cool that you registered an account also, there's a wealth of information to soak up here at BHW.

Anyway, yeah, the methods still work 100% so you should be good to go. If for any reason one doesn't work for you, (based on your geo-location) just use one of the other methods and your PVA's will be active and ready to start submitting with.

@streetballa: i would change the title 'how to cook pancakes' too. make it something even more appealing like '5 tips on how to cook pancakes' or 'how to cook pancakes for dummies' or something like that.

getting 2 dollars for an article is really not much; i think my minimum was 2,65 for an article and the comment stated that they, although they believe that the article is good and interesting, that it is not specified enough to reach a targeted audience. probably this is your problem - your articles are not specified enough. so you shouldnt write about 'how to cook pancakes' but about 'how to cook vegan pancakes' or 'how to cook pancakes for people with allergies' ..something like this
i also went through some trial and error the past month but finally i found what ac likes; at least i hope so but at the moment they accept all my articles (although it is funny that they pay more on one account than on the other - i guess it is because the one who gets less had a higher 'article declined' rate before).

Hey guys, I've been doing ok with A*C but I'm still stuck at $5+ upfronts with the occassional $3+ upfronts which I have been recieving since I started with A*C. I feel I can get to the next level if I submit the right kind of articles but I have trouble finding these type of articles for my rewriters. Let me explain.

I record everything I do regarding my articles in a little composition notebook including keyword search volume, A*C search results, competition levels, and the upfront payment I recieve. Most of my 5+ upfronts generally have a search volume in the 100-500 range, search results in A*C less than 20 and competiton levels of 80,000- 200,000.

Sometimes I research certain keywords and they fit my criteria for search volume, A*C results and they have much lower competiton levels. However, my problem is finding articles for these keywords for my rewriters. I usually find general information but scattered all around and not in a logical format.

Is anybody else experiencing this problem and if you are how do you deal with? I know I could just write an original article myself but I don't really have the time. So help please?

Scraping articles based on having already done researching of keywords can be tough and kind of hit and miss like you explained. I've always done it differently by using a basic seed term to hunt down original articles as a first step (which then you can end up finding many different sub-niche articles to target). Then I will quickly check search volume/competiton and set them aside to have rewritten if they're within my search volume/competition range (I talked about the range I target on the last page I think).
