@ prasenjit - Hi mate, I think you may have misread what I said in the post. At 4 mins. you'll see a "speed checked by radar" sign, not a 35mph sign. That's the frame you want to look at and try to guess the MPH/KPH. I'll pick the winner who's the closest on Thurs. morning.

@ Anthraxx - Hopefully he doesn't get banned. Does he have experience posting to YA? Is he posting both the questions and answers himself with a proxy, or is he asking and you're answering?

The three main ways people get banned with YA is:

1) posting the same link over and over - This shouldn't be a problem since you're posting a different article link each time. (If you're gonna be posting your main content producers page make sure to spread it way out.)

2) Having other members flag your answers - If your answers look spammy, off topic or read like they were only posted to get your link out there then it can put an account in jeopardy.

3) Using multiple accounts to answer/ask your own questions without proxies.

Basically, if your poster follows those basic guidelines they should be good to go. Have the poster copy/paste each url for the completed question or answer into a Notepad file and send it to you, that's your proof that they've been doing their job. If their account gets banned you'll still be able to go to that page and confirm they did their job. It's just that you will see "This question has been removed".

Do you know someone selling AC accounts that are approved and how much do they want for them ?

How many articles a day can I do per account ?

Do you guys use consumer reviews for local guides like "top sushi restaurants in cleveland ohio" because Im having trouble finding websites with professional reviews. Most of the consumer reviews are terrible when it comes to grammar and spelling and whatnot. What could I type in google to find more accurate reviews on restaurants and what not.

if its a review of a local restaurant on clevland, just work with whatever bullshit is there. AC reviewers wont know if the waitresses are well educated in which wines go with what foods, or if the house red is cheap and dirty, so you can write whatever parcel of shite comes to mind.

You could easily make a 500 restaurant review up from a look at the menu, a picture/description of inside and 100 review.

Just dont call the restaurant shit in case by some cruel twist of fate the owner reads it and sues your ass

@ ch8878 - Contact CMS2009 who posted right above me. He's got a PVA service right there in his sig. As to your other question, start slow at about 5 per day for the first week and then up it to no more than 10 per day, per account. Mix it up with different amounts each day though.

Redtide...thanks a lot for all the info you have put about in this forum. I've been reading the AC section for the last week or so and have just begun my efforts to make some extra $ with it. Your posts have been a big part of my preparation...!

Got a PVA from a user here who was great and then submitted my first article. I got an offer of $4 within about a day. Is this good? What is the offer range in your experience? I've heard of anything from $2 up to $15 or even more.

I'm not going to go the W9 route as the $500-600 limit seems alright, with a few accounts going at the same time it should be ok right? Though I suppose your clout level will keep resetting - does this effect your upfront payments in your experience?

@Stung - $4 right off the bat is an awesome start. Most of my offers started around $2-$3 and I had to build up my clout level before I started seeing $4+ offers. You don't have to go the W9 route from what I understand.

@Redtide- I've been working hard on implementing the Twitter method. So far I've gotten some mixed results. Some day it seems to bring in quite a few PV's and then other days maybe 10-15 views.
Anyways, My question is about the tweets themselves. I know I've read on thread that the more controversial the headline, the better. I'm wondering how I could pull this off with more boring subjects i.e. tech reviews, restaurant reviews etc ?

My last thought was whether or not the tweet even has to relevant to the article itself. Since I'm only aiming for the click-thru's should I just try to be as outrageous as possible?

Has anyone ever seen a sharp decrease in their PVs before? My PVs seem to have dropped in their average per day. Or maybe a particular day? My PVs seem to go down sharply on Fridays.

I would think that if you start putting totally unrelated twitter posts to get more PVs, at some point it may backfire...some overly good citizen might tell AC, or AC might see it if it gets to be a big deal. But if it's a few bucks a day on an article I doubt they'll do anything..

I also wanted to ask what people's experience has been like with non-US paypal accounts. If I use a paypal account which is non-US as my payout email, have you found or do you think this will be a problem?

@Verve22- I actually thought I would try the same thing to try and get more views to my articles but doing it with twitter would not be a good idea. Why? Because when people click your links and see that it's not what you said its going to be, they may be less likely to click any link you put up in the future.

Now using this approach elsewhere may prove valuable. I'm actually thinking about trying it but not with anything that involves ruining my reputation.

@ stung - You're welcome, glad it's been helpful! $4 to start is excellent with AC. Presently, the highest upfronts for "regular" articles are $9-$10 for well established members with high clout levels. The $10-$25 articles are specialty assignments (Partner Calls) that you have to earn the right to be offered. (I covered the things that decide this in length earlier in the thread)

As far as your question about clout affecting upfronts, yes it does. I also covered earlier in the thread how to keep a high clout level on your accounts (for better upfronts, a chance at getting Partner Calls etc) even if the accounts aren't W9 verified. It's all about spreading out your submissions, building page views and then keeping your accounts attached to your Paypal emails as long as possible.

@ verve22 - Adding controversy really depends on the topic of the article. This is where it takes a little thinking outside of the box so to speak. You can bs and make your tweets totally unrelated to the articles, but then you run the risk of having your Twitter accounts suspended by complaining followers. Here's an example of adding an interesting/controversial spin to a mundane article topic for Twitter...

"How the Samsung XP112 flat screen TV almost cost me my marriage!"

I keep the tweets related to my keywords but just throw in a little bs in order to get the clickthroughs.

@ vicious - Their PV system is a mess and always has been. It fluctuates a lot but then will be updated to the correct numbers at random. They've always had things updated for me by the time the monthly payout is approaching though.

@ stung - Having a non US Pay*pal isn't an issue with AC. Like I've talked about, if you aren't giving them reason to dig seeply into your AC accounts you'll be golden. If they're given enough of a reason and dig into your Paypal acct they will see that the same name in that acct is attached to multiple AC accts. At that point it doesn't matter if it's a US or non US Pay*pal, one or more of your AC accounts are getting banned if you get my drift. The point is not to make them dig deeper.

Thanks again Redtide. I don't think there'll be any reason for them to look into my accounts so hopefully it should be ok..

With respect to the clout levels, am I correct in thinking that if I don't go the W9 route I am never going to have accounts with a high clout level for a very long time coz I'll have to keep ditching them? I guess it's not the end of the world..?!

And lastly, regarding the the same paypal email on lots of AC accounts, I was planning on setting up lots of free aol accounts or whatever and then just linking them all to paypals as I go along. So I can put a different paypal email in each AC account but every 7 link back to the same paypal (I think 7 is the limit per paypal account). AC can't look into my paypal account emails can they?!

I hope I am not asking a really stupid question.

Where do I find "Partner Calls?" Is that the "Want an Idea", "Assignment Desk" Section?

Okay, I understand. Thanks for the tip. I was wondering why everything started suddenly shifting after 2 weeks of consistency.

@ stung - You wont be able to keep the AC accounts forever without the W9 but you can still build up the clout and residual page view payments. Remember, you can have a total of 16 AC accts attached to 16 Pay*pal emails (spread over 2 legit Pay*pal accounts). The more AC accounts you spread your articles over, the more you stand to make.

It will obviously take a while to max out all 16 AC accts before you have to go back to the first Pay*pal email addy and sacrifice it in order to start a new AC account for submitting upfronts.

I'm not really tracking with you about your ideas with your 2nd question.

@ sebulba - Yes, they're found in the Assignment Desk but you'll want to go back in this thread and read where I talk in length about what you have to do to earn the right to be offered Partner Calls (about 10-20 pages back)
