@ prasenjit1857 - I just leave it on the default of 4. If your dupe percentage is 15% or less on that setting, you know it will pass Copyscape.

i always use the smiley face to determine if my duplicate % is ok. if its just smiling, then i try to eliminate some of places I have dupe content but when its grinning big I just leave it be. I do the same for keyword density



UPDATE: just checked my A*C account and I got my first $5+ article. And i only have a few other articles submitted on this account.

When looking at A*C to determine if "an article has been done to death," what am I supposed to search for?

For example, if my chosen keyword phrase is "big red widgets" and my article is going to be "Big Red Widgets - 10 Consumer Tips to Know Before Buying"

• am I checking out A*C competition for "big red widgets"
• the niche of "widgets," in general
• or the overall topic of the article of "widget tips" or "buying widgets"

I want to say the answer is to search the entire keyword phrase.

Red, couple quick questions.

In my PP, I have one account linked to my totally whitehat approach at AC, the other 7 linked up to methods you outline in your book for non-U.S. Could I be risking my whitehat method here if my PP gets looked into?

Second, I am always trying to keep under the radar as a non-U.S., however, when I order proxies, they always come sequential. Also the K7 phone numbers are very similar as well. Are these potential red flags?

Yes, you would search your keyword phrase "big red widgets." Search results using the seach function in A*C is a bit broad. By broad, I mean that it comes back with a lot of results that dont have your keyword phrase used in the title. You should only worry about results that have your keyword in the title.

In order to get these exact matchs you can just put this search string in google:
allintitle: (your keyword phrase) site: ass*ocia*ted_con*ten*t(dot)com.

Of course take out the underscores, asterisks, etc.

@tygrus- I know your question is directed at red but I'll try to answer it. First, I would like to know how you have a whitehat approach if you're not in the U.S. The whitehat approach requires you to submit a tax form which you cannot do.

But to answer your first question. Its unlikely that you will be putting your white hat method into jeopardy. I dont think A*C could find out the exact emails attached to your pay*pal account. But just to be safe, you could put your whitehat account on a seperate account since pay*pal allows you to have 2 accounts with 8 emails attached to each one.

As for the proxies, I dont think you have anything to worry about because I dont buy proxies. I just reset my modem and when I do, the ip only usually changes by a number or 2.
And its highly unlikely that A*C looks deep enough into your accounts to notice a small thing like similar phone numbers.

My whitehat method involves submitting mass articles to AC (and others) for PPV only to drive traffic to my blog farm. There is no tax issue with that as far as I know. Even if there is, I am a ways away from the $600 limit anyway.

@tchashow: Just the person I was hoping to chime in. Thank you. For the record, I don't search A*C directly... I use the same method as you and posted it a few posts prior. It may have gone unnoticed, but no big deal. I appreciate your response!

Woohoo, I got my first article accepted for 4 USD. I always thought they pay only that much for news articles. I'm pumped! But probably that will be an exception though lol.

@ poolshark - tchashow nailed it, you want to do a search for your specific keyword example of "big red widgets".

@ Tygrus - If your whitehat AC account is totally seperated out with a different Pay*pal account it's definitely a lot safer than keeping it attached along with the BH accounts. Even if you're using proxies/clearing cache etc, AC does have the ability to make a connection based on the proxies being sequential. It's fairly unlikely they would dig that deep though.

Like tchashow said, I would keep the WH account seperate and attached to a different Pay*pal (up until you need to add more BH accounts).

About 5-10 cents more than what you'de pay for forum posting. You want the answers to be good so that it makes sense that your answers would have been chosen as "best answer".

Ok, onto the sweet, sweet meat. I know the topic of multiple accounts has been discussed many times (another thread sought to be definitive on this but quickly fizzled out) so I'm going to do my best not to rehash.

I get the whole flying under the radar thing with 8 (possibly 16 paypal emails), keeping all accounts that aren't your primary one to under $500ish. What I'm interested in is having two W-9 verified accounts. Is it possible?

I read the fine print on a W-9 and it says that an LLC classified as a corporation can enter the LLC's name on the name line. Awesome. Now the only question is, can you have a legitimate business account with paypal without divulging your real name? Even if you had to give your real name, do you think AC would bother to match up your W-9 (which only has the business name of the LLC) with the personal name on the paypal account?

All of this is assuming you're not submitting poopy spun articles and are providing AC with quality content.

For the record, "poopy" is an up-and-comer and paypal will always be gaypal.

Anyway, having two W9 accounts is "possible" but I wouldn't really recommend it to be honest. Again this is just my opinion based on a few other people I've talked to who have tried something similiar with LLC's. I haven't tried this route for myself because it's not worth jeapordizing my clout 10 account over.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure you can open a business account without using your real name. I know there's a few good threads here at BHW where this has been discussed. With that said, I could be mistaken so I would do a little more research into it.

Sorry I can't be of more help on it but since I haven't done it firsthand I hate to lead you astray.

@ everyone - I'm not sure if you guys have seen this but this is one kick ass easy tool by Dan Abbamont for coming up with niche keywords at the click of a button. It allows you to set parameters for keyword search volume, and competition, clck a button and there's your keyword. It's web based like Google Adwords keyword tool so there's nothing to download and install.

Put "fashion" or "fashion trends", "womens fashion", "mens fashion" into Google Adwords keyword tool. Take the spin-offs and G0ogle search em.
