Made $30 on two articles today

Red, there won't be any writers at GAF who is a member of BHW. Because if they visit once this forum then they don't need to write articles for others. They will easily learn the things and will work their own.

Just my thought.

That's not what the person's ploy is revolving around though. It revolves around taking advantage of people who have my book and are placing ads to hire rewriters, not people who are looking to get hired for writing jobs.

lol if calculated my average time for creating and submitting an article I wrote myself i bet its quicker than most of the people here outsourcing...excluding red and john that is.

what info are you looking for? Just go back to page 1 and read. Even with a lot of personalized help you're still going to have to do a lot of trial and error.

(isnt as good as)

(which isnt as good as)

Actually, Jon already mentioned he doesn't outsource it and works as a team with his fiance because they both love to write. ;)

Without a doubt, writing yourself is a great way to go as long as you don't mind spending all day writing the articles yourself. If you're writing yourself (and not with a partner like Jon) it's gonna be pretty hard to maintain writing enough articles day in and day out to get to the point where you're making a full time income with it. The whole point of outsourcing is freeing yourself up from the actual writing duties.

You've claimed you're a great writer, so writing yourself is the way to go. Not everyone wanting to work AC claims these things though.

So they outsource it.

Exactly, the more specific it is the better. That's a good example of the difference between being "too broad" and being plenty specific enough for AC.

I don't really think im a great writer but i do think i'm better than a lot of other content providers.

Unless you're multi accounting theres simply no way to make a FT income from AC imo. However if I can get my clout up to where im getting $6-7 an article then A/C will worth enough to be my "filler" work between clients... instead of whoring myself out as a content writer on forums. :)

Heres a thought...I just noticed that I'll have access to a sig here once I hit 50 posts. Im not multiaccounting or doing anything against A/C's TOS so do you guys think it would be safe to put my authors profile link in my sig here? I dont want to be banned by association but I think i could pick up some nice traffic from here. :)

I wouldn't do that if I were you, the AC moms don't care if your legit or not they will still try to get you banned for your association with this website.

Also, would the traffic really be that good to justify the risk?

Risk vs. reward seems a little low to me.

lol I gaurantee if I post something like "Are your A/C articles as good as this?" or "I'm making a killing from A/C! Check out my articles!" Id probably get some decent traffic....but yeah I see what you mean. Its risky and I probably shouldnt chance it. That sucks because I think I could get some decent traffic from this subforum. Oh well theres probably other forums I can get more targeted traffic from.

oh and as far as reward: Im trying to build clout quickly.

One thing I will agree with you guys on is the A/C moms. They should be more worried about becoming better writers rather than spending all their time on the Ac forums kissing ass and trying to rat people out.

Umm yeah, BHW is definitely not a good forum to try to draw AC traffic from. I don't think your AC account would last a week livinitup0. There's a ton of places out there to draw traffic from.

lol i dont plan on tying it but its interesting to me and im trying to think outside the box...I would hate to leave "traffic on the table" so to speak. :) Im just thinking that theres got to be a way for BH'ers to help each other increase page views organically.

Thinking outside of the box is good, putting AC acct links into BHW sigs=not good ;)

If you have any brainstorms that would work regarding pooling resources for page views I'm all ears.

@ everyone - just a reminder that if you choose to outsource AC, you shouldn't take for granted that the articles will always come back to you with perfect grammar and punctuation. Everyone makes mistakes, so it's up to you to check them over before submitting.

This is totally basic and should kind of go without saying, but when I do my coaching/consultation and review peoples articles that are having rejection issues, this is the number one thing I run into the most. Great articles can get low upfronts or even be rejected just because they weren't proofread.

Man this thread makes my eyes hurt! Going to try this asap. Not complaining about the extra money. Do you only ask for 50 a week? Why not 70, 10 for each day?

@ everyone - I'm thinking about taking the time to make this thread A LOT easier for everyone to find the most important information they need. Because it is 30+ pages long now and makes it hard for everyone to find the most important info, I'm thinking about going through the whole thread and compiling all of the most important posts into one long post here on page 31 or 32.

This way all of you won't have to search the whole thread to find things that are really important with working AC, and I hopefully won't have to answer the same questions so often.

I think that by compiling all of the most important information and placing it here (deep into the thread) it should help us all out and save everyone from a lot of unessecery reading.

What are your thoughts?

If you think it's a good idea I will take the time to do it.

It's definitely a good idea! It'll be even better if you compile them into a pdf and sell it for $97 :D
