Made $30 on two articles today

After how long did you mail the GAF staff to bump your ad, red (and where did you mail)? I'll try to squeeze few more good rewriters out of GAF.

I tried this and they said it's not possible and i would just have to close and resubmit my listing.

@ goodbyebluemonday - I contacted them about 15 days after the original ad was placed once the listing had dropped way down the page. I left them a support ticket at their "support desk" and sent them a link to my ad explaining in detail what my situation was. (I had already brought on two good writers, but indicated that I hadn't found anyone yet)

I did this with both of my accounts (reworded and on different days) and they bumped them both up to the top.

Im not sure why it didn't work for you Dodge, did you explain in length what your situation was? Or did you just say please bump my listing back up to the top?

Like I was talking about with tbootz, just start a couple of GAF accounts if need be and move on with weeding out the bad and hiring on the good

I bought your ebook the other day and wrote a few articles according to your specs. Last night I got my offers and to my delight they were in the $3.50-$4.00 range with the highest being a few cents over $4!

This is up from my usual average of around $2.50

Yours is only the second ebook (about *anything*) I've ever bought. I'm happy to be able to say I didn't waste my money this time! I'll have the investment made back in only a few articles.

Ok, my first two ads on gaf didn't receive any replies the past two days so I did some tweaking and testing and put up a new one yesterday night and have 4-5 bids by the morning. All of them are mediocre except maybe one PM whose writer seems to have a good grasp on English so I'm going to send them a sample article to test them out.

edit: Ok, so I just looked at the bids... two bids for 30, one bid for 45, one for 50 and one bid for...250? I'm not even sure wtf they're bidding for, are they bidding for 10 articles, 50 articles...1 article? I check their profile and they say average hourly wage is 10$.

How the hell do I determine how many articles they're bidding for? I clearly said 1$ per article, so whoever bid 250$ seriously needs a head check. Is it even worth PM-ing these people and bringing them in line with my 1$/article budget or are they a lost cause? (well, the $250 is...His PM was the equivalent of the raping off the English language). I'm going to send them a PM anyway and see what they're about.

I signed up and my first two articles paid $2.43 and $2.56

one was sports and one was on a printer

I submitted 2 more and they said had to be performance for those topics

now I found this thread Ill try to learn more and up my offers

Seriously, just do not bother with the bid numbers. If you post a long post like the one in red's book, most of them will never bother reading it carefully.
I was a lazy bastard on my first post, and almost copied it word for word, and got a lot of weird bids. You've got to realize that most of the people bidding there bid on 20 projects, or so, so they do not read all of them fully. Just ignore the messages beginning with "Sir,...," and you will be golden . I believe that these writers can still be good for AC, even though they do not bother to read the long posts.

Just stopping by to plug Redtides book, it is definitely worth the money. Plus the quick answers you get if you are wondering anything are very nice.

I bought the book, followed it to the T, hired writers the whole 9 yards, and I am making money. I am only using 1 writer currently while I get all the basics down, but I have mastered the 1 writer and will be scaling it up in the next day or two.

It ain't easy money, but if you apply what he teaches you and make it work, you can have success with it.

Like with anything, if at first you don't succeed, keep trying damnit!

(A note: I made the purchase price of the book back in my first batch of offers from AC)

I have a question please. I do paid posting for one of the companies and aside for the post jobs there are also article orders. There are almost 500 article orders as of now and the payrate is 4$ per 250 words. I was wondering if I could outsource like 100 articles for 1$ and then get a 300$ profit?

What do you think guys? Will this work? I am new to BHW and this article business but this looks like possible?
If it does work I will outsource all of them lol.

Usually for the rate of 1$ you are having an article rewritten, meaning you provide them something that has already been written and they just reword the entire thing.

If you had articles on your topic that you could provide the rewriters then essentially you could make money from that.

Regardless there are defintely cheaper rates than 4$/250 words out there (Even on BHW), so I would think it would be easy to turn a profit from that.

Hi Remington,

That's awesome that the guide helped your upfront offers jump up like that. It shows that with some key things put in place what a difference it can make. I know it's tough investing in something like an ebook because you truly never know what you're getting, but I tried to write mine in such a way that it will help anyone, and I made sure to leave out the fluff and crap that most ebooks consist of. Whether outsourcing or keeping it small by doing your own writing, I tried my best to cover all bases.

I'm so glad you've been able to put it to use and see immediate payment increases!

Thanks for taking the time to come leave your thoughts about it. You said it well, this is about realistic money making, not about "get rich quick overnight without lifting a finger" kind of bs. That kind of thing just doesn't exist online. Success, whether with AC, eWhoring, Forex Trading etc is directly related to how bad you want it, and how much effort you're willing to put in to get it.

You've got a great mindset going in. Remember also that the toughest part of this method is "the setting up stage"

After you've got your writers hired and everything's put in place, it becomes semi-automated and very routine. You just have to be persistent during the weeding out phase of hiring the writers.

how are all you guys doing, hope you all are ok. Just to let you know, AC is currently looking for articles on "First Person: Californian Wildfires", and they are paying $5 per article.

Less than 24hrs before the article is due though, so anybody interested best get moving !

Also, how many of you have been posting using trial accounts vs paid posting? I'm trying to see if either has any impact on bidding.

So far none of my 5 bids have been satisfactory and it seems after the first few bids the post falls down a page and everyone stops bidding. Maybe it's the luck of the draw, though I'm not as concerned with not having found the right writer yet as I am with the fact that out of 3 posts only one received any bidders at all, dying off shortly thereafter.

Made an account at GAF, and used the the trial thingy. I had about 16 responses to my post, and then my account was suspended (probably due to me trying to pass on my email add to the people responding to my post.
I've had 3 people respond, that seem to be up to the standard I'm looking for, and, they passed the re-write test. I'll probably hire all three of them, eventually.

About keeping it small...I use AC as my "emergency, get money NOW!" source. But when it comes to large-scale, my thoughts turn to SEO...

The way you set up the chapters so I could go right to the parts I needed is excellent.

I'm just guessing here, but it sounds like it could be something to do with your ad copy tbootz. Do you want me to look at your ad? Most of the people that got the book that I've been talking to are getting a lot more bidders. I'm stumped on this one mate.

It's funny because you've been able to pinpoint things that I made a concious effort to try to accomplish with it, like trying to make it easy to instantly find the chapter you need for quick referrence. I realized half way through that with so many small details it would be really easy for the reader to forget some key points. I ended up going back and re-editing the whole thing to make it as easily accessable as possible. That's also why I'm constantly telling people to keep it close by and use it as a constant reference during the first month of submitting to AC.

Can't believe I actually just read through this whole thread.... Heaps of information! I must say that I have never seen an infoproduct with this level of customer support before.

I am originally from the SF Bay and am currently living in Australia with my wife on a 1 year extended honeymoon/business building trip (year long tax deductible honeymoon). We have both been submitting articles to AC, here and there, for almost a year now... whenever we have the time. We are making a little money here and there, but nothing to write home about.

After reading through the information in this thread, I am seriously considering taking the time we used to dedicate to article writing and work towards leveraging it through freelance writers.

I'm going to go sleep on this one, but wanted to express my appreciation for your contribution and thorough follow up, redtide... Instills a lot of confidence when I consider purchasing your ebook. I hope my wife and I can be another testimonial for you, soon! :clap2:
