Made $30 on two articles today

If it's a time sensitive piece maybe submit it for performance only. If it's in a popular niche you can make more in views than you would on the upfronts anyway. That way it's up and live a lot sooner than waiting for them to review it.

That's a good idea. I haven't done too many articles that are PV only. I guess I am due for another that is only page view

Unfortunetely, BH'ing AC kind of needs to be done on an individual basis to keep our accounts alive and well. We already know the cackling hens will go to pretty great lengths to get us nailed.

I fully agree with both of you, it was like 5 AM and I didn't think it through completely. However, here's a wee twist you may like. Start said social community but post links to the cackling hens articles and make sure we openly state that it is a bh community for AC writers LMAO... That would work

I finally submitted my first two articles on AC. I had been avoiding AC for a long time thinking that maybe CL marketing would be easier, but I never made any money ever since the lousy people at CL made some serious changes.
So yesterday I sat down and wrote two articles. I only submitted two because of the fear of rejection. I'll need to know what they want first, then I'll begin churning out more articles.
I hope I can get somewhere around 2-2.5$ per article.
One's a shopping guide and the other is a product review.

Ok. I've finally submitted my first article. I have 5 written but I didn't submit the others because they were on too broad a subject. I had a hard time writng those articles too. So I decided to hire me a rewriter.

I just posted the ad last night and I already have one writer, which is all im looking for right now. I posted the ad at GAF and she responded immediately and she also completed the rewrite which was great. The only problem I have now is how do I communicate with her? On GAF, they don't allow you to post contact details and I don't want to take down my ad because Im planning on getting some more rewriters once I get the hang of this.

I know that this info is probably covered in reds book but I still dont have the money to buy it yet. but im definitely planning on getting it. I have a bunch of questions I need answered and I know the book is the place to find those answers. But if someone could just help me on this one subject, it will be greatly appreciated.

Well anyway, I found a great software shared here on BHW member downloads section that I think will help anyone using AC to earn money. It's called Sonic Snooper. I know that one of the longest things it takes me to do is gather information for the article I will be writing or rewriting. This program makes it significantly easier to do this. I've only just begin using it but I've already got the same amount of work done in 15min in what it usually take me about an hour to do. I advise everyone to check out this software.

Thanx red. The program allows you to search through search engines quite quickly. I know that you can do this yourself but it saves so much time because you can just click what search engine you want to do your search in and it will show results based on the search term you placed in the search bar. It also allows you to choose what kind of result you get back i.e. tips, guides, ebooks,etc. And if you are not happy with the choices that the product creator has included, you can even add your own. So, if you look at the list of search engines and you notice one of your favorite search engines is not on the list, you can add it! And the same thing applies to the type of results you get back, i.e. if you want to just get "how-to" results, you can just add "how-to" to the list of choices. Adding choices to the software is an "advanced technique" but very is easy to do. The download includes a video that shows you how to use the program and do the "advanced" stuff.

To find the video, download the software. Go to the help menu and click the online manual and scroll down and you will see the links to view the videos.


The program also allows you to drag all the urls you find to be useful at the bottom of the page so you can have easy access to them after you finish your research. These urls are clickable and permits you to easily view the websites you "bookmarked." When viewing the urls, you can highlight the parts you will most likely use and drag them to a text file to view later.

Hope this explains it ok. As I stated earlier, you can learn how to utilize this program fully by viewing the online manuel.This program works great imo. I hope you guys find it as helpful as I do.

Does anyone know if I can republish an AC article that I kept the rights to on eZines? Without rewriting or spinning?

I have a question 4 u guys. Would you rewrite an article that you know has already been rewritten on AC? I found a bunch of great articles but some of them have already been rewritten.I thought maybe I could change the title and just target a diferrent keyword. What do you think I should do?

Not an expert but that sounds a little risky. Unless maybe you have hired really good re-writers or you personally do the re-writing and make sure they seem fresh

@ livinitup0 - If I'm reading your question right, no, you won't be able to without rewriting. It will still fail Copyscape without the rewrite to 85% unique.

@ tchashow - You can as long as the 2nd rewrite is rewritten into a new unique article, retitiled etc like you mentioned. Of course, make sure there isn't too mch competition for your new chosen KW's.

One thing I've done is take some of the articles that I had published my first two months with AC (those which brought me the highest upfront offers) and retitled, rewrote and resubmitted them. If you've been working AC for awhile and have a large number of published articles (I'm currently at 6-7K+ spread over all of my current and past accts), you can re-use them as long as there isn't too much competition currently for the article's KW's. This is one reason I save copies of all of my past AC submissions on my hard drive.

I found some pretty cheap freelancers that have agreed to write ORIGINAL content for me for pretty cheap.... I also found a "method" of obtaining a hot in demand VERY Specific niche topic with a list of keywords I use to provide my writers with, but I think I can get 5$+ upfront payments with every article PLUS pageviews and eventually calls for Content. I plan on doing this whitehat and using one account. Writers agreed that I own all rights and intellectual property to the articles so I will just go about submitting my W-9 soon.

I've been finding the kewyords I use in my articles by using market samurai. I try to get a keyword that gets more than 30,000 views a month. I noticed that a lot of the writers on AC dont seem to do keyword research because the keywords they target dont have a high search volume.

I'm wondering should I be targeting keywords that dont have a lot of competition in the search engines or does it only matter about the competition at AC?

And how many results would be considered to be too much competition in AC? I found a niche that has 2,000 results. Is that too many?

UPDATE: I just received notice that my first article submitted to AC was declined because it was too promotional. I have no idea what they are talking about because its not promoting anything. I'm thinking they were talking about a source that I put in the article because they added it to the message.

i need to read a lot of things over because I am not at the point where i know how to really get a niche yet. recently I have been trying to push articles that just dont have much competition on AC

Well if AC is accepting them and they have low competition at AC, then you have a good niche, imo.

@ tchashow - Like I talked about earlier in the thread, my rule of thumb is to avoid targeting a keyword that has more than 15 results at AC. I'm not talking about "total results", but the results that have your main keyword/keyword phrase in the TITLE of the AC search results. As far as competition in G0ogle, it's not as big of a deal, but needless to say your articles won't rank as well in the SE's if you're competing with more than 30K other results.

It's something to keep in mind, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't submit anything with more than 30K competing in big G, your choices would be much too limited.

@ adi.harry - Just like with any spinning software, you'll need to spend a lot of time editing and fixing sentence structures to get the content accepted by AC.

Wow red! 15 results. Thats great. I've been searching and searching and the least results I get is 150 and I thought I had hit the jackpot. lol. Guess I will keep searching.
