Made $30 on two articles today

It was a product review of a newly released laptop...I think I just got a crappy reviewer, there was nothing wrong with the article. Oh well.

I've also noticed a LOT of people at the AC forums complaining about their upfront payments going down. Is this happening to you at all Red Tide? I'm beginning to wonder if, at 1.5 million+ articles, AC could be getting oversaturated?

OMFG I really can`t believe I just finished reading every single word on this AMAZING thread.
I`ve learned a lot and I can`t wait till the moment I`ll get my hands on Red`s book, which will be awesome as well no doubt!

I`m really excited about the journey I`m about to start. I guess I`ve already started it, slowly, but things are moving!

And the twitter idea for bumping up article views is cool, because I have 19 (if i remember correctly) accounts with ~1k-2k followers on them doing nothing but collecting dust.

I just had an idea about content scrapping. Maybe setting up an auto blog would be nice for content huh? I mean we won`t get indexed by google because we will bring in a lot of articles for the blog, but who cares `cause we don`t want that anyways eace:

Actually, upfront payments "as a whole" have dropped over the last two years as you'll see by going through all the past threads here at BHW. They used to be giving as much as $10 for upfront pay. My upfronts have been staying steady for the last 1-2 months at $5-$6.29, the latter being my highest. Again, it's all about bringing up your clout level. The more they're making off your page views, the more they pay you for upfronts.

Thanks for the kind words jurums, I'm glad you found the info helpful. lol how long did it take to read through this whole thread? I'm really glad you did that as I recommend everyone does who's just getting started. (keeps the thread from getting cluttered with the same questions being asked all the time)

Regarding autoblogs, anything you do that draws new content is a good idea. As long as the content has targeted keywords, then it's possible to use it for AC. Just make sure it follows the other things we've already talked about :biggthump

One thing I'd like to address with everyone (now that this thread is 24 pages long) is using the thanks button instead of clogging up the thread. Everyone who knows me is aware that I can't stand "thank you whores" meaning people that ask people to thank them for posts. But to keep this thread "compact" and from getting so long that people don't read all the info in it, I'de really like people to use the thanks button a lot more if they aren't asking a direct "new" question or providing their own help for others.

The longer a thread gets, the less likely people are to read the things we've already talked about in length, which means people coming in and posting the same questions over and over. This clogs up the thread, dillutes it, and then also forces us to answer things that have been well covered already.

Hmm let`s see... I started yesterday... did 8 pages I guess.. And all the rest i read today.
It took me more than 3 or more hours for sure, because I was taking notes and re-reading some stuff to better understand it and keep that in mind =]

I wanted to give everyone a heads up in case they didn't know. AC put a "flagging" system in place awhile ago that allows people reading your articles to flag them if they find they aren't following the submission guidelines, breaking rules etc. Because there's no set guidelines put forth by AC as to what constitutes "flaggable" articles, this system is a joke and is ripe for abuse.

If you don't like the authors opinion on a piece, you can flag it. Don't like the way they cited their sources? you can flag it. I don't see where this system will last long because people will abuse the hell out of it, but wanted to make you guys aware in case you didn't know. This is a perfect example of why you never want to rewrite content from other AC writers themselves. Especially with how over protective some of these stay at home moms are of their articles.

Also, guys, remember, AC isn't the only site to submit articles to. I'm applying some of Red's ebook method to other sites with great success .


I take the top performing articles on AC, rewrite them (title also), and submit elsewhere.

May not be as profitable as AC but an extra $500-$1000 a month is good for some folks!

I'm trying out a lot of sites right now. However my favorites are Triond, Xomba, and Squidoo.

I was having success with Bukisa but since I read here about how accounts were banned, I haven't been using it as much. A bit wary of that one right now.


This month I have been trying to do something a bit different.

I have several personal blogs that I've started (some .com others .info) and I'm forming a linkwheel of some sorts between content sites, my blogs, and web 2.0 sites (twitter, etc.).

****Each blog has it's own Triond account and so on/so forth.

All my content on all my sites (blogs, triond, ect.) are rewrites of AC articles. I don't bother with PLR. The only contents that are originals (and I don't submit much of) are videos and pictures.

Be careful, though, never include AC in any of this esp. if you doing anything blackhat. Those women/men there will sniff you out like a hungry dog to a bone. AC should always remain separate at all times!

I would go into more details but I think I'll end up confusing myself as well as everyone here, lol.

well, after 24 pages, making another review of the ebook is almost useless. It's said all over the thread that this ebook is AWESOME.

Anyway, I told redtide I would make a little review when I get some cash, so... that's what I'm doing .

This is a review from a total newbie point of view, directed to all the noobs that (like me) haven't made any money yet (until now )
Oh, and bear with my English, it's not great I know, but I'm taking a "bit" to make it the best I can. This also means that your writing English level is not an excuse to don't try this method. If you can read it, you know enough to hire the rewriters and communicate with them.

I have the book for a week I think, but I waited to get some bucks before writing anything, so I have a more accurate idea of the whole process, and that has finally happened. Although it was just $2 for each one of the two articles, I can now say you are really hand-guided.
It was the first ebook I bought, so I can't compare with others, but I can say that like the articles you'll need, it doesn't have "fluff words just to fill space".

I think the ebook is ideal to noobs that haven't made any money yet, and nothing can be better than starting with a method with outsourcing. IMO, gives you/us a new perspective.

I haven't hire full time rewriters as I don't have much money yet, but I ended up hiring a rewriter for 5 articles, $1 each. Thus if I can sell 3 (only 1 left), I reach break-even. I know I'm talking about a few bucks, but I know how important this is for those noobs that have already spend some money, and haven't made anything.
After break-even is reached, we already know how the process works, and with more confidence, a few more bucks and a little more risk, we can invest more, and get more articles... having a full-time rewriter in no time.

If you are like me, lazy, and really, trully, HATE reading and writing, I can tell you that this is not a reason to not try this. Every time you think for yourself "oh man.. I really don't feel like doing this right now", remember that you promise yourself you would be making X per day. If your a noob and haven't made that promise or something like that... you probably shouldn't waste your time here (just my humble opinion, I might be wrong as I'm here less than a month.. I think).

Again, regarding the ebook, it really hand-guides you, except in two things, that it's probably impossible to.

1. How to get articles and content that AC likes. I'm not talking about what categories (health, how-tos, review techs, etc), and what not that the ebook refers, are better or worse. I'm talking about the style of writing. Review approaches (how to keep a critic review unique if you'll be scraping google search results). Obviously with only 2 articles 'selled', my ideas on this are are far from being crystal clear.

2. And, probably related with the one above; Tips (beyond keyword density and content uniqueness) on how to get articles reach $6

I think, solutions to this only comes with experience so.. let's get to work.

And that's all I have to say, I guess...

oh.. and $17 it's obviously nothing for this ebook

@ freeseeker - Thanks for taking the time to post up and thanks much for the kind words.
Yeah, there's really no way for someone to teach another person about solid writing styles etc. What looks like a good article to one person may be fluff and crap to the next. This is where each persons own individual testing with AC comes in. Once you've gotten a fair amount of articles under your belt and submitted, it becomes natural.

It also gets back to what I talked about earlier in the thread about the fact that yes, this is an easy method of online earning in the sense that you don't have to be "tech savvy" to make money with it, but a person still has to have some form of knowledge of web content, web writing and the ability to tell good from bad in an article's content.

redtide, everythings going good. Actually too good. I have 6 very good writers. Now I want to make their AC accounts quickly but without drawing too much attention to myself.. I thought about making one account tonight and waiting a few days and making the next. Question is, and I'm not sure if it's been answered (sorry if it has) but... As for AC when I create a new account do I put all the same information as my original (besides paypal email of course) but as far as like name, age, location and all that, is it okay to create a new alias? or does it have to be the same name but everything else can be different? get back to me when you get a chance bro.. I know you're busy

Also, is it okay for your rewriters to leave the originals articles links?

Cool deal that you've got the ball rolling. One small piece of advice though is to try to start slow so that you don't bite off more than you can chew in the beginning. Managing 6 rewriters is an awesome idea, but you may find yourself pretty overloaded with content to proofread, edit, submit, scrape etc.

As far as your accounts, I'de recommend creating 1 every other day and switching off between bueno and K7 for each. (not sure what method you're using or whether you're buying PVA's)

As far as registering.. absolutely, you always want to have a totally seperate identity with each account. Use a different US zip, age, name, all of that

Also it's a good idea to fill in your bio information and build up each account's profile with a picture etc. It gives each account an identity and makes it easier to become part of the AC community and draw the all important page views to your articles. Female accounts are the best for this.

I meant links in general...like references, sources and whatnot.. I've found good articles but some of them have source links through-out the article and I just didn't know if it's okay to tell my rewriters to leave all the links in and work their copyscape percentages around them.
