MacBooks vs. Windows?

MacBooks - from my experiences i have switched with ios for all devices , its easy rather than windows, no errors, nor stucks , and easy transfer through ios devices, copy past things through iphone to mac, swap to pages , multiply aps can use and many things which is easy than windows,

stick with what you know and have been using.
usually you get more bang for buck on windows machines
i've been using macOS at work and bought first iphone this year. don't like how almost every app is paywalled where same thing is free on android/windows.
for windows it's more confusing cause there's so much more choice and difference between consumer grade and business grade laptops. for mac it's either pro or air model.

What needs do you have? What kind of budget? For just a solid laptop with decent performance, if you aren't doing anything crazy, the M1 MacBook Airs are a good choice and actually a really good value. You can get them for like $600, and they're gonna be more than enough for what most people need from a computer.
What kind of programming do you do? For web or mobile development Mac OS is really popular, and for developing iOS apps you need it.

I'm a developer so initially windows worked out great for me but when I moved to a "devops" workflow, windows was becoming a big headache so I moved to mac os.
All and all this is how I use 3 mainstream OS:
1. Windows for general use
2. Mac OS for development
3. Linux for deployment

Windows has had great photo editing and video editing software since the early 1990s, and it's performance has pretty much always outclassed the mac platform at the same price point. The M1's were a game changer for laptops, but intel has since responded with a big.Little design that has closed the gap for a powerful laptop cpu with great battery life.
