MAC users question

hey guys

any mac users here ?i have a question.are any of you using GSA,nohandsseo,gscraper etc on mAC ?are they working ok on mac and how i can make them working on mac?

not sure i posted in the right section,if not,admins pls move my thread in the right section.thank you guys

You will need parallels to run windows apps on a mac, but I would recommend buying a windows machine if your going to be in IM. I use scrapbox, gscraper and GSA and yes they are all working, but if you don't know what your doing you can really hurt your site, so make sure you do your home work.

i have now a windows machine but i know a mAC is a mac and they are the best in my opinion that's why i want to buy one for myself.and yes i know how to use all of those tools in a positive and also a negative way.thx for your answer

Just download a virtual machine like virtualbox (that's free) and you'll end up having one or multiple windows perfectly sandboxed and safe: there are really no major downsides to it if any...

I haven't had any problems nor have I noted any lag. I typically run the programs overnight however, only because it's easier for me to set them to run. I have run both (not at the same time) while doing other things online and haven't seen any adverse effects on performance.
 
The othe solution is buying of VDS on Windows Azure. You can start programs on virtual windows server and close remote desktop connection.
 
I'm a user mac but i use VM with windows and i use teamviewer8 to control the vm's
 
On a mac now, but there are two ways I use the tools.

You will need to spend money. Whether you buy a VPS (recommended for the flexibility) or Windows parallel (or similar).

If you chose the VPS, you can download 'Cord' (Google it) and log into your VPS. This is the simplest way, but it isn't without lag or delay.

Second option, get a windows machine (I had one prior to buying the mac so this was the easiest way for me).

Ultimately, I alternate depending on what's available. Nothing beats a dedicated windows machine.

Go torrent Parallels 9.
I am using that one as we speak.
I run most of the SEO tools without any error.
And I'm 3 finger swipes away from OSX and Windows.
 
thank you guys for suggestions ,i still think there is no windows laptops that can run like a MAC .just my 2 cents,they have the best laptops.

I agree with this since I love my macbook pro, but I do have a windows desktop for such programs so I wont need to leave my macbook on all day.
 
I do partly, running some tools (keyword research, scrapebox (small scale)) on my mac with parallels 9 & windows xp. However i run GSA and the rest of the heavy arsenal on a dedicated server, my internet connection (30/30) isn't strong enough, plus my wife will hate me when her show is on and everything is lagging lol

to be honest i dont expect any lag on mac that i am going to pay $ 4k. :D

I don't think anyone is buying MAC because of it's specs.
It's more because of a combination of the follow: design, fashion, customer service, OSX etc.

Not saying MAC is not good, I like it also. But for $4k, I am pretty sure there are better options out there if you're looking for a fast and solid laptop.
