Sorry if this is a repeat post, sorta new here, just stumbled upon it trying to learn some SEO tricks. I've just learned about all the different link buiding tools out there but they seem to be for Windows...any one know of any good ones for mac?

I'm pretty sure that you can run windows within mac on a virtual machine, then run your IM tools. Try doing a google search on "running windows on a mac".

Thanks I just didnt feel like getting a copy of Win7 and parrallels or bootcamp, but if it will be the only way than I guess so thanks!
 
Market Samurai runs natively. I run everything else in Parallels.
 
Bootcamp comes standard on a Mac, so that's not something extra you need to pay for. You would only need to get a copy of Windows.

If you don't wanna spend a lot, just find someone selling Windows XP. It will work fine for running IM tools and probably be cheaper than 7.

You could also just get a Windows VPS and run everything on there if you wanted although that would be more costly.
 
Hey mate I made the exact same post a few weeks ago and I ended up giving up. I love Mac and hate windows but there is no choice unless you want to outsource the SEO work.

For Mac you can get Market Samurai + SEO Powersuite but you really want scrapebox and a few others which only run on windows.

I suggest you "Purchase" a copy of Windows XP and install it through windows parallel which is what I have done and there are no speed issues.

Most will tell you to use bootcamp which is fine but I have no issues with my setup and it allows me to run both Mac OS and Windows at the same time. Took me 20 mins to setup and I can't believe I didn't do it sooner.
 
I think most of the developers on this forum should try developing some of their apps in Adobe Air because it can run under Win, Mac and Linux so it's a great diversity. I am also going to develop some apps for Air soon.

Sure thing!

Get a copy of Parallels Desktop

PHP: 
parallels(dot)com/products/desktop

Get a copy of Windows XP

Load up Parallels Desktop and it will prompt you for the Windows XP disk or image file if you downloaded it. It will take care of everything else for you and you will not even need to restart your Mac.

Should take about 15 - 20 mins all up and then you basically have a working Windows PC on your Mac desktop with everything integrated.
