Mac Or Windows?

I think with windows you have the option to do anything and everything lol. With Mac, you are somehow limited with what you can install and do.

I've been windows guy all my life but the M1 chip is making me consider Macbook now.

All of what you’ve said are the bare minimum and can be done on both devices. It boils down to what your preferences are and which option would seem reasonable cost wise. I use a Mac as i have an apple ecosystem and bringing a windows computer into the mix would make me miss out on a lot of features.

PC's are sh*t
Only use them on remote servers to run bots
F*ck Bill

Work with what you're used to. I switched to mac a few months ago and still not used to it. It actually slows my work down.

windows is good
i wish my games run on linux so i can change OS

Windows for everything

Mac M1 for video editing

Linux

Either one. Usually Mac if you can afford it.

If you're not using linux, you're doing it wrong.
You mean he should get a dedicated PC for each of those tasks?

Either of Mac and Windows is good for all of those.

They all have almost everything now. It will be better if you go Linux.
One needs to understand linux though but it is a great Kernal for hassle free FREEDOM

does not matter being on windows or mac, need mac's only if you are in to video editing.

There are no limits in windows you can do whatever you want but with mac you are limited you can't use crack apps means you need to pay in mac where you can get apps free on Windows [crack apps]

I do all of the things you mentioned very often and only use Windows and have used Linux but has a higher learning curve for accomplishing some small things.

I would like to get into the Macbook lifestyle as their devices are so powerful, but imagine having to pay for Photoshop and Premiere licenses.. oof.
If I were to only create content for a blog for a living etc, the simplicity of a Mac might be very nice.

As for coding, Mac is really only necessary if you code iOS related stuff (then it's literally required for xcode), but it's decent for web-based coding too.
I code desktop software with thicc boi Visual Studio and the Microsoft ecosystem with Azure and DevOps etc. so that would not work with a Mac.
