Mac or Hackintosh ?

    I m planning to buy a new PC these days but i don't know what to configuration to choose...my budget is 1000 EUR and i can make an effort to buy a MAC but i m thinking that i can get a wayyy powerful PC with the same money or make a nice hackintosh .

    wait for the new macbook pro to come out shortly and the other macs will drop in price, if you like mac stay with a mac machine

    Man buy a pc and run linux. that is the best bet. I run linux and a vm of windows for all my winblowz apps.

    But a linux pc with vm is also nice.
    Anyway can uou rec me a mimd blowing conf till 1000 1300 eur?

    buy a pc

    mac os is based on *nix anyway

    you will get more computer for the money buying a pc than a mac every day; plus pc's are more user-serviceable, you can buy any OEM component on the open market

    not trying to start an OS flame war, but to me open architecture > closed architecture

    Yahh ... You are right that's why i opened this thread because i m not decided what to do.
    If i buy a 1500 imac i will always cry that i could buy something what is 2 times more powerful.
