I'm using a Mac to access a VPS..
Windows remote desktop client (RDC) is very laggy,
Team Viewer is probably even laggier.

The fastest one I've tried is LogMeIn, its the only one that gimps the graphics enough for better performance.

However, its annoying that it won't fill the screen with the VPS desktop --it stays the OS resolution. Windows RDC does this auto-fill for full screen but its too slow to use.

Does anyone have experience with a fast program to access a VPS that has proper full-screen mode? for Mac?

I'm a Windows user and I was actually quite surprised how well RDC works for me. Very responsive almost like using a PC in front of you when connected to my 2008 windows server.

Regarding your question did you try Ultra VNC it does the full screen thing but not sure how well it would work for you.

I'm using LogMeIn and it's great. Don't really understand what problem do you have?

Did you try to change the settings in RDC.
Works perfectly for me with a 2008 server and OS X 10.6

Yeah the Mac MS rdc client is laggy. Very annoying to use.

In comparison the window 7 mstsc is much better.

it feels almost like you are sitting at the console of the remote machine.

So yes, I'm also looking for a good alternative. Tried Cord, but it isn't significantly better than the Mac MS RDC client.

Is there a way to exit RDC without logging out of the VPS automatically?
