MAC address and Facebook ads

Hi everyone,

A’m having a question about MAC address and Facebook. The question is whether or not my MAC address will be collected when I logged facebook and then they use it to detect if i have several accounts?

any response will be appreciated.

Simple answer, No.
To know the endpoint MAC address when it’s not p2p is a complicated thing and data that should not be collected.

Websites cannot grab your MAC address, only software that can read your OS can.

There are many ways to grab and collect user information, Active X objects, Java applet, and of course browser extensions (plugins).
I've done and seen many nasty things going on in the web industry. but I've never heard of anyone giving a shit about MAC address..
