It's hard to say. Both have their pros and cons. Even tho I use vidiQ, I would go and say that tubebuddy is better in terms of functionality and pricepoint if you're just starting.

i use youtube search to see what people are actually searching, and then look at what videos are getting alot of views per hour

also another great method is to look for channels that have around 1-20k subs but are getting alot of views.
