Lyrics website

I have been lurking around for a while now. Stumbled upon lyrics website while thinking of ideas, is this still profitable, would there be any chance in competing with current lyrics websites, does google like this, any legal issues and so on? Maybe someone could tell me. Tried the search button but nothing seems exactly related and doesn't answer my questions. So thanks in advance!
