Lynda's SEO Training...Worth Watching Still?

Is Lynda's SEO training still worth watching? It was released in July of 2006 so I don't know if it is relevant. Before I spend 9 hours of my life watching this, I was wondering if you guys thought it would be worth it.

I personally have learned a lot more from browsing forums and reading new methods than I ever did when watching/ reading some kind of training/e-book. If it's being shared for free, its probably crap now and there's nothing new to read in it.

It will give you a good foundation. You could search the net for the information and gather the knowledge here and there, but you will save time watching the videos.
