Who was that guy like 8 months ago who lied about his Ferrari? I was still pretty new here, and I remember telling my wife (before he got busted), 'Yeah, this site is amazing...some of these guys are doing really well; there's a guy with a Ferrari!'...it just never occurred to me that someone would lie about stuff like that. In retrospect, I think the reason why people post stuff like this (goes for scammers like Chialic [sp] too), is because so many members want to believe this is true. We want to think we'll be the next guy with the Ferrari, the house, the big check, the swanky office. Not to say it isn't possible, but just that it is sad what some will do to impress/manipulate others along the way to their goal.

People lie in all professions including IM. This is done not only to impress others and to get more business. Sooner or later such peopel get caught. I have seen people lying about their salaries or even regarding grades in exams.

Shoemoney holding up a 6 figure adsense check any different? IMO, it was the wrong place, the wrong time, and wrong stuff to lie about. Other than that, he probably has a bright future in IM if he can get his ego in check + pay attention to detail.

It's probably not fake.. but the point is, it's hard to dispute that picture. Other than the fact that currently google doesn't send checks. From people seeing that, they got behind him, regardless of what he was actually saying.
