    :)

I LOVE the mis-matched amounts on the checks!

They were gambling on the fact that most people won't even notice it!

Actually, I probably wouldn't have noticed! lol

But I've grown kind of numb to the income proof that's on most of the sites nowadays anyway for this exact reason. Fake it til you make it? Riiiiiiight!

these guys are jokes. i fell for the wealth magnet scam when i first got into im. i actually made back my investment, but what a circle jerk that was.

the problem is, now a days we are always looking for expert advise, from personal trainers, counselors etc. So these people will always have a void to fill and people to scam.

I know guys like ShoeMoney and John Chow get a lot of respect for being "gurus" but I wonder how much they really make from true affiliate marketing or if all their money comes from calling themselves "gurus" and making the ad revenue from their blog sites. I watched that Affiliate Marketing Challenged and I'm not really impressed. It seems their claim to fame is telling everyone they are rich and made crazy money online so people will read their sites and that's where they actually make their money.

    the real earners keep quite.

In 4 years on line I have heard but never MET of 2 who earn over 600k a month and continue to do so. There are others including one guy who has a team of 100 producing 30 million bweb pages a day who allegedly earns STILL 6 million a month from adsense. Adsense give him anything he wants...including indexing and ranking. They are years ahead of the rest when it comes to seo and BH. THATS what we should be doing here going out and finding every trace of these guys and dissecting as best we can how they do it.

This is ridiculous - can't someone take legal action? I felt brainwashed by the 'gurus' for the longest time until I began realizing how STUPID most of them are.

99.9% just sell 'how to make money' but haven't made a damn cent doing it themselves. I sit here and bitch in this forum but they are still making millions every year selling their BS. Still can't believe the realities of this... it pisses me off.

Rather than taking legal action, it would be better to pass the word around that these clowns are not to be trusted. If you know someone who is into IM, show them those links and tell them to beware of income claims.

He is nobody. Probably knows less about IM than you or I. A total fake and scam.

Of course, that is just my opinion.

What's surprising is John Reese is good friends with him - I have a lot of respect for John but after knowign that it kinda raises some eyebrows.

Don't be fooled by Reese. There are two ways to make money in IM...

The first is the real way - choose an offer, promote it, make money.

The second is to "teach" others how to do it - Get them excited, show them "proof", and then charge them insane amounts of money for your system.

Believe it or not, both ways are legitimate ways of making money, but those teachers have to keep outdoing themselves with bigger checks, clickbank accounts and so on...

Reese makes his money from those that want to make money.

I've been wary of those long lists of Clik*bank and affiliate sales statements for a while now. Those and the so-called "testimonials" from the same bunch of people. I'm also wary of sales pages that are more than 3 screens high. if I'm not convinced by the time I get to the end of screen 2, then screen 3 better be damned good.
The word 'guru' envisions a guy sitting cross legged on a mountain somewhere and giving out words of wisdom. These self professed IM 'gurus', imho, are shysters who are no better than the leeches I encountered in the Mekong. At least then I knew I was getting sucked...

Admittedly not a lot BUT for example you can buy a domain for say 10 bucks stick something on it and get it indexed etc

Hosting say 10 usd a year

They work on basis if they make 40 bucks a year thats 100 % profit...try doing that with say forex.

But to make a killing they have automated systems where you have MANY servers...bulk buy THOUSANDS of domains a month and auto populate and promote using scripts they have had written and are continuously adjusted.

I am as guilty of this as many others..I don't treat the business as real business sometimes. Bottom line if someone said spend 1 million dollars to earn 1 million profit would I do it? I don't know. These guys do. It IS a numbers game and it need to be automated as much as possible.

Thats what we need to aim for automated building and promotion.
