Lying about age

Hey guys,

I'm starting to use services such as Admob and Adsense, and these accounts are all connected to my email account, which has a false age, as I am under 18. I was just wondering what the repercussions of lying about my age would be, and whether that would hinder me in any way. I have my own bank account, my own SSN and everything, but is there anything I should keep in mind? Thank you!

Maybe you can register with your dad's details for now.
That's what I did when I was underage.
I have no ideas about the legal actions revolving it so it's better to wait for a better solution.

Technically, they could refuse to pay you and ban the accounts. Legally, it would depend on what you were doing and in which country.
 
In some countries the "SSN" or Tax ID can be used to check your age manually or via an API. If they do find out you'll probably get banned.
 
My nephew who is only 13 is doing time for lying about his age to PayPal.

lool i'm not scared about going to jail or any legal stuff, i'm just worried i won't get my money after putting the time and work into getting it...

i wouldn't worry about it much, did it when i was underage and i survived. Just updated my personal info after i was of age. Goodluck to you

There's a lot of internet Marketers here that is below 18 years of age. Companies will only hold your payments if you have done something fraudulent in terms of promoting their offers. Pnce you hit your minimum threshold they will send your payments to your paypal or firstchoice account. They are not going to check your age in your email account.
