LW + CB with direct linking or landing pages?

I have been reading a lot about linkwheels and it seems like a great way to drive traffic to an affiliate site (or any site for that matter). I am curious though if I should be linking directly to the affiliate site with my hoplink or send visitors to a landing page that links to the affiliate site. Anyone with experience with this care to share on it? I would appreciate any input!

It depends on the publisher landing page , if it looks crappy try to get visitors to your landing page.
And using linkwheels i definitely use a landing page because if you have a chance your landing page can get a great position on Google SERP
