I personally don't wear a watch. My cell phone is plenty capable of doing the time for me. But are watches still a popular item? Not the gel looking kiddie shit. but like aviation watches and the ones where you can see all the gears.

Expensive watches hold their value pretty well, so they are a good investment. However whether it is worth it, is completely up to you!
