My site is down . www.omniblogs.net , i ran a script that posted some blogs automatically . the shut down my site . this is their email :

Hello, While monitoring server balsa, where your account is currently situated, we have found server alerting for high load. Upon investigating into the issue, it was found that your account was using excessive resources of the server and causing it to alert. Further, looking into the depth, we found a script root cause of the issue. We were forced to disable the script.

Please note that the acceptable usage range for shared plans is 1.0% average %CPU or less, 1.0% average %Memory or less and Top Processes below 20%. If you require a higher usage then allowed on shared servers you might want to try a dedicated plan. Details on dedicated plans can be found here: Dedicated Plan http://www.lpdedicated.com I hope this information is helpful. Kind Regards,

I replied to there ticket and here is my censored reply :

G** D** YOU !!!. YOU SHUT DOWN MY SITE WITHOUT A WARNING , HOW THE H***AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT SHARED HOSTING HAS LIMITED RESOURCES . TO H*** WITH YOUR HOSTING , PEOPLE TOLD ME IT SUCKS , NOW I KNOW THEY ARE RIGHT . I WILL SPEAK ABOUT YOUR R***** PERFORMANCE ON ALL FORUMS..
YOU ARE COSTING ME $$$ BY SHUTTIMG THE SITE DOWN WWW.OMNIBLOGS.NET IS DOWN !!!.

Sorry guys , but BHW is my only steam outlet.

Yea, I let lunacypages go last month,,,was a headach lotta downtime for my site.

Anyone can help me out. A step by step guide... how can I move my domain name to another web hosting company , or is my domain name the property of Lunarpages ..??

When I bought the hosting account the domain name came free .
BTW, I looked at the index.php in the domain directory (Through FTP) it is CHMOD to 0 , I cannot set it back to 755 or whatever , I cannot copy it, delete it, or change the CHMOD I get access denied... anyone knows how to put back the site online please ..? Lunarpages staff have gone for this looooonnng weekend :(.

yeah! i think Most hosts will transfer everything for you for free anyway

I am having problems with Lunarpages since I signed up with them 7 month ago. They have a high rate of down time . I found to my amazement that they limit a folder content to 2000 files or pictures. I had to ask for a higher quota, and this incident today is the needle that broke the camel's back .
BTW anyone knows if www.omnis.com are good ..? also any one has a positive experience with dedicated servers with a price tag below 100 $/month .?
Thanks .

It is a well-known fact that lunar pages will take your site down without warning. Unfortunately, I still have 2 years out of the 3 years I paid left to go with them. Most other hosting companies will help you move your c-panel. The process is painless. If you have databases, however, they might charge you a fee. Good luck friend.

Anyone knows what will happen next ?. I mean now the site is shut down ..what is next ..?
Thanks.

You need to get on another host as fast as possible. If your sites are non-adult and you do not plan to host anythign adult, then go to http://www.vexxhost.com they're awesome.

I'm stuck on loonypages myself and I tell ya what the assholes had my mother in law's IP blocked from their servers ROFL. I mean how gay. Oh and the downtime is DISGUSTING. But, I don't have the $ for new hosting and adult hosting is a bit more expensive than the $4.95/mo I paid for "unlimited" which turns out to be a flying heap of donkey dung.

Can you still log on to you cPanel and do a complete backup?

I managed to put my site back online NOT with the help of Lunarpages Tech. Thanks for all those who offered advise.

Don't go with Dreamhost either. They will let you get away with a lot for so long, but once they actually investigate they will take it down.

It took them over a year to see that I was running a proxy off their server. An autoblog would also be against their TOS since it is going to scrape their site.

I also had bad experience with Lunarpages I hate them!

When I was working with CD and they switched to Lunar Pages dedicated server, every few days all the files would be deleted.

I had a site with dreamhost I left them a few month ago. they don't have a Cpanel .. anyway I figured out a way around lunarpages CHMOD my index.php file to 0 , and now my site is back online . I played with the .Htaccess file and created a new php file and now all works fine ... BTW it anyone is into Halloween check it out .
