    Hey BHW,

After years hearing about IM I finally decided to TAKE SOME ACTION. So let me introduce myself:

    Who am I
    hjungles, 23 yo., Brazilian

    What do I do
I work with IT for a Brazilian government agency since 2011. Previously worked for two other gov't agencies too.
Entered in Management college in 2009, but dropped out in the same year.

    What do I want
    • Get rid of my f****** debt of BRL 40k (USD 18k)
    • have a simpler life, with no boss, no daily commutation and no worries
    • travel more, have more time to family and friends. (and myself too! :D)

    What I *DO NOT* want
    • Become an arrogant jerk
    • Ferraris and Lamborghinis
    • big houses
    • hookers
    • cocaine
    • fame
    • throwing parties at Playboy's mansion
    • having stupid people around just because you're rich
    • ...

    (Miserable) Experience with IM
My grandfather (yeah, ole granpa!) used to run a website since 1996 (!). It was a Web-based nationwide search engine for car parts.

He used to teach everything he knew about the Internet (no too much, actually :p). So between 1999 and 2003 I have runned 4 different usless lame Web 1.0 websites with his support.

It happened that in 2006 he died. His partner dropped out of the bussiness and I was the only one who could keep it running. I was just a 14 yo. stupid wanna-wanna kid with absolutely no working experience and, by no surprise, I f****** it all up. By the time of his death the website used to give 200~600 BRL/mo (inflation+exchange = USD 150~450). At Feb. 2009 I've hit the bottomline of ZERO INCOME.

The year 2008 was the peak of the Web 2.0 hysteria and the Internet became far different than it used to be. I finnaly started to learn how to make websites that don't suck too much and to work a lot on improving granpa's site. My father was worried because I turned myself into a workaholic teenager (which, in turn, didn't prevent the earnings from going lower and lower) so he adviced me to outsource everything I could. And so I did. And so I lost BRL 6k (infl+xchg=USD 3.65k) because I hired a damn scammer who disappeared with all my childhood savings.

Well, you see that, at this point, I had a huge trauma with Web bussiness.

So in 2009 I've heard about Rich Jerk and his miraculous secrets he would only give to those who payed him USD 99. I felt strongly compelled to buy the damned e-book but, you know guys, it smelled a lot like SCAM, so I didn't (and it was a good choice as we now know that his system was already outdated by 2009).

But I was strongly convinced that making such huge earnings were at someway possible, so I started to playing around with those lame PTC and PTV website. Well, if you ever been into this kind of BS you know that in few weeks I've quitted, angered by figuring out that only a few in the IM community takes the huge money while the rest fight for pennies.

You must remember, back in 2010, it was the Golden Age of Spam. The firsts pages of Google got filled with tons of spammy cr*p and my latent interest in IM sparked up again. Then I've learned about BHW and started to lurk around. But in the beginning of the following year, the Empire striked back with their zoo of pandas and penguins, washing the spam kingdons away from the surface of the Earth, and everybody around was saying that "SEO is dead" and that everything was going to be like in the ole days of Web 1.0, when the only way you could possibly earn money with the Internet was by directly charging your costumers. Kicked off from IM once again.

Between 2011 and 2013 I found myself into several off-line money-making adventures and... Guess what... Long story short, I was scammed one more time and ended up with the 18k debt. Then I fell into depression, got a mild cocaine addiction, dated lots of stupid bitches, crashed 2 cars, and did a lot of other stupidities.

In the end of that year I have hit rock bottom. Ever since I have been recovering myself and getting my life back in the rails, but it is not so easy when the bank eats up half of your sallary and you have to commute by bus every day.

So, a month ago I remembered all of the Rich Jerk hysteria and wondered if the people who buyed his book were cursing or hailing him. I was surprised to learn that he wasn't actually a scammer and his system was mostly legit. I read his life story and felt deeply inspired by it. And I've been having a lot of free time because I've just broke up with my GF (who was a major contributor with pushing me into debt ;) LOL) so I dived once again in the IM waters, lurking BHW every single night since then.

Now that have built up a lot of professional experience and emotional control through learning the hard-way, I'm pretty confident I won't screw it up once again. And I hope to fix the mistakes of the past, too.

Thank you for sharing your time,
    hjungles

Welcome to BHW dude. It's funny, what you've listed here is pretty much everything most of us DO want ;)

Wishing you all the best, there's no greater feeling, imo than living debt free.

    Hey guys,

    Thank you for warm welcomes!

    Brazilian beaches and income inequality
I actually live in Southern Brazil, which is by far different from the Brazilian archetype. The city I live in is 70 miles (by car) away from the coast.

I always dreamed of moving onto coastal villages. But living there is pretty difficult if you are a regular worker. Most of these people live in poverty due to few job opportunities and high living cost, especially in touristic beaches.

Actually I lived in the coast once (hxxp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/São_José,_Santa_Catarina) for a single month. And I hated it! Everything was by far more expensive than in my hometown and there was LOTS of stupid boring rich jerks anywhere you go!

The secret is to dig up beaches the tourists aren't aware of. If you guys ever have the chance to visit my country, try to visit places outside the regular touristic circuit and I guarantee you'll have unforgetable life experiences! Not only along the coast, but in the countryside too!

So, in summary, you only can lead a worry-free life in the beach if you have an unusual form of income (which is exactly what I'm trying to do here!) and avoid touristic cities.

    Wannabe-rich jerks
I'm well aware there are a lot of people dreaming of beign rich jerks. Not only in the IM scene, but almost everywhere! I can only feel sad for them because I used to be one of those and you see, in my original post, what I've got with it (scammed three times, cocaine addiction, huge debt, ...). The good part of the history is that, soon or later, everybody finally wakes up to life and start moving towards true happiness. Oh, by the way, THE Rich Jerk himself is one of these guys (hxxp://kellyfelix.com/prelude-to-a-rich-jerk/).

    My first post
I would appreciate if you helped me with my first issue into BHW at .../affiliate-programs/703592-my-journey-0-09-day-wait-wut.html.

    Kind regards,
    hjungles

    Hi there,

I was already wondering if I could find a Brazilian community here! Thank you Roshaen for suggesting that group. I'll submit a join request.

I also wonder why I've got no replies for the [.../affiliate-programs/703592-my-journey-0-09-day-wait-wut.html] thread I've opened last Friday.

Did I say something really really stupid??? :sorry:

    Thank you in advance,
    hjungles
