LSI-Basic question to expert here.

Does LSI really play some game today in the field of SEO or it is just a hype? I think LSI and SILO are just common sense... a human being when write a well informed article he follows these rules.... it is simple to write content if you think carefully by putting yourself in the position of a client and what you want if you go to read some ...article or sales page.

What your opinion friends ? Am i wrong? Here to know your experience.

You are absolutely right that LSI is common sense, after all, an article on cars should contain words and phrases about cars, driving, engineering, etc as that is what a visitor to your site or page will expect.
But LSI is not hype, it is just a fancy way of explaining that your webpage should contain related content about your keyword and that really is not rocket science.
