Is anyone else experiencing drop in AdSense earnings during the summer in compatison with previous months?

Yes, but this is not something new. Every year during the summer it's the same thing

It largely depends. Last summer my earnings were immense, while this summer they are quite weaker. I'm working towards a better situation for the coming months.

As someone said above, it depends on the niche.

Also think about this: Many people are on their holiday maybe?

yes, most of the people are on vacations, rarely using internet.

When the weather is nice, people go outside. This means that there will be less people online (also explains the drop in visitors). Plus there just isn't much advertising done in the summer month.

That's also the reason why your earnings skyrocket in December (many people are inside + a lot of advertising due to Christmas etc.).
