Anyone noticed a large traffic drop since the end of August? I'm noticing new pins get barely any attention compared to prior to that.. maybe another algo change?

Pinterest is getting saturated because when you have shit load of feed, you wanna serve best pins to audience and hold them on your platform. They have to change their algo with time.

The vertical pins are now getting very low attention as those are cut short in the feed. Also, if your follower repin or try any of your pin then only your pins are appear in home feed of your follower otherwise it will appear under following feed.

I also think saturation is the main issue. Unfortunately, Pinterest is not working on this issue, by giving distribution priority to older accounts with more followers, higher quality articles, etc.

So people who really put in the time to produce content and pins get the same distribution as spammers currently it seems like. It's communism.

Yes, it's not that new. For me, new pins being worthless has been slowly happening for many months now. As I've mentioned in other threads I have pins from 2015 that still bring hundreds of UV daily, so the issue is only new pins. And BTW I have 30k organic followers and get ~50 new ones daily on autopilot, so it doesn't seem right for me to receive 10-20 visitors in a week on each new article+pin that takes 2 hours to write.
