I wasn't able to learn on my own, the stuff I tried by myself didn't make as much as I thought in the time it took to setup and all that, things just never took off.

I really wanted a job in this field. Work with someone as an intern for a while before I can really get my hands dirty and prove my worth.

I'm just sick of breaking my face trying to figure this whole thing out on my own whilst my money and my time are going out the window....

What did you try? Did you stick with it or gave up too quickly? Shiny object syndrome is what many often fall for, you see the next big thing jump on the hype train and then you realize it takes too much work.
As Asif said no mentorships allowed here and if someone PM you saying they do offer that please report as they are all scammers. Realize, why do I need an intern if I make lots of money? I can outsource cheaply for separate tasks without giving away my whole workflow.

The people that offer mentorship or sell how to make $10k a month for $29 might make $10k but not from the info they are selling you but by selling to people looking to make money with no work.

Look into freelancing (upwork etc) , but first look at what you are good at as you do not want to compete for copy&paste work with the whole world.
Article writing in Portuguese? Local guide in Brazil for tourist and establish a blog etc...

Don't give up that easy. Tell us what you've tried first & we can maybe help where you've gone wrong

You've been a member 5 years, take time to look at what you have tried, what you really want to focus on and then start again.
Check the download section for courses too.

I edited your title, as @Asif WILSON Khan points out the forum doesn't allow mentoring etc.

The initial effort required to reach inertia in this game is massive, hence most people don't take this path. If you are serious - be prepared to give up everything else and work for as long as it takes. Commitment is critical for high level success and when I say commitment - I mean it in a different order of magnitude to what most people mean when they say "I'll get it done". Others who have made the jump will know what I mean

If you want a mentor - find one in real life who you have something in common with who shares your values. A really great mentor who doesn't need money and does it for the sport. Not me, not anyone else on BHW and certainly not someone who contacts you out the blue offering to teach you. The majority of what you need is psychological; there are already more than enough methods available for free on Black Hat World. It is the quantum mindset shift that is required to make them work and that comes at a personal level
 
I noticed theres quite a few of these types of threads popping up recently...dont give up op read some of the journet threads on tbe forum and start your own once you've done enough research, block out the hype and stck with it till you get results IM isnt easy but once you think fu*k it and just jump in the trenches and put your own spin on things yiu will get results trust me. Keep at it;)
 
Did a lot on dropshipping, had some very mild success. Put a few years on that stuff and it just never quite worked.
I'm not even greedy, I just wanted to make $40 or even I dare say $50/day.

I just suck I suppose.

How were you marketing? Can we see what your site looks/looked like?

What Went Wrong? Set Up A Store, There's A Free Method Circulating On This Forum. And Then Search For Instagram Influencers In Your Niche, Get A Shoutout. If You Do One Daily You Will Easily Break 50$ A Day Mark. People Here Are Making 1000'S Per Day, Then Why Cannot You Earn In One Month What They Earn In A Day? 2 Cents From A 14 Year Old. Don't Quit.
 
There are literally hundreds of different other things to try out there... pick something else and give it a shot :)
 
Go to the beginner methods sticky in the making money section.
 
I'd Say, Find people who know good methods to making money and talk to them,

Just don't go jumping to the next thing a day after when you don't make $10,000 or it's just going to result in failure.

Find something, Put your all into it, And it will do the same to you.

What did you try? I think you did several things one at a time. Remember focus is very much important in order get success at Internet Marketing
 
Earn money online is not easy as its portrayed. If you think you have better opportunity offline ..go for it.
